LOL at the silly dreams. I had a totally freaky one when i was in first tri- that i had my baby, but when i looked, she was a sticker (but also a baby), so i put her in a packet, and when i went to look at her again, i dropped her, but because she was so tiny i couldnt find her in the grass on the hillside that i happened to be on.. Very traumatic.

Then there was the one where i was in a stately house, in a side room with Prince Andrew, and we went for a walk in the hills for some "private time" cos the butler kept disturbing us, and then caught a helicopter somewhere, and didnt make it back to the house in time, and Camilla came into the libarary to look for us. Wierd. Never liked prince andrew particularly.

4nnabella... i'm lurking too. Sad isnt it. At some point these ladies will tell me to pee off and stick to my own threads...

:pIt was so weird. In my dream doctors were telling me to terminate because there was something wrong with my uterus, I refused and then up popped Tim Minchin , with his piano, and said he was a top fertility doctor and could help us! :rotfl:

I keep having v strange dreams too - last night I dreamed I was shopping for baby stuff, but every time I put something into my trolley (like baby bath) I had a big panic in case it was something I'm not supposed to use, and put it back. Think I've been googling for too much info :rotfl:

yay emsbet and yay bellolla! Welcome here and a huge congrats to you.

my midwife appointment is this week!! finally!! i had a few days of worry but i m feeling a bit more positive ladies. i still have the sore bbs and the nausea feeling so i think i am ok right? i dont want to think negative. i can hopefully explain to the midwife about the scan last week and also the date thing ot whatever, so lets see. then my scan is next tuesday! am still praying that my little bubs is lazy and will grow and not that he/she has stopped! :0( still praying though.

thanks emsbet. im hoping they have my dates wrong as i did wonder, how could one fall pregnant straight on their last day of the period? i thought i was 8 and a bit weeks but the scan showed little one as 5 weeks...so i am praying hard, it is the case of wrong dates. i am sure i wasnt even ovulating just on the day of my period! you know? :0)

Rups how long were your cycles normally? The doctor dated me from my LMP and when I went for my scan at 12 weeks, they put me back 2 and a bit weeks, (which is what I initially thought anyway) but my average cycle is longer than 28 days so that contributed I think too.

hey Gilly. mine is normally 28 days, but when i initially went to see GP after getting test positive, i thought i would be 2 weeks as i am sure of the date when my and hubby you know?? so i thought 2 weeks and then the doc said nearly 5 weeks, and i was like what? i just went ahead with it, until the scan last week. if i didnt bleed i wouldnt have known that!

I know from tracking my cycles while I've been TTCing that your cycles can do weird things and the day you ovulate can change each month and can be affected by many things such as stress and illness.

I know for example that I ovulated on the 18th day of my cycle this cycle and so I will be four days behind where the doctors would expect me to be. I am going to ask for them to send me a bit later for my 6 week scan because I don't want to go too early and beanie be too small or too young to detect the hearbeat.

I'm glad you are feeling positive. I know how stressful all the waiting to find out can be. Hopefully your midwife can give you some answers when you see her.

I will keep you and your little one in my thoughts.
