This will be my second baby (I already have a 16 month old son) and am about 4+4 so very early days yet!

I had quite a traumatic birth last time around so this time am resolving to do everything (that I have any control over) differently as I don't plan to do it again!

I have contacted a Doula to support me through the birth this time, and it all sounds very positive there (will put a deposit on after my 12 week scan) and intend for this one to be a home birth with a pool.

Phew! Now I've planned it all I can relax for another 36 weeks or so!

I got my BFP yesterday, digi this morning confirmed pregnant 2-3. My EDD according to FF is 16th september. This is my 3rd pregnancy, the previous two sadly ended in miscarriage. The first was at six weeks in June 11 and the second was a mmc at 13 weeks in October 11. I'm keeping everything crossed this will be our forever baby.
Because I've had the two consecutive mc's I was told last time that I will get scans at 6, 9 and 12 weeks and will also be under consultant care.

Anyway, I'm not sure how much I will post because we are trying not to get too excited and obsessed by what's happening but I will be lurking so wanted just to say hi

congratulations, the first few months feel like limbo waiting for scan appt and mw appts

there are a list of foods to avoid like raw eggs, pate, undercooked meat, certain cheeses etc

welcome to the new mothers to be, there are so many of us now
10 weeks today, nice to be in double figures.
i got symptoms slight nausea from the day of my missed period and i have had a range of pregnancy symptoms on and off for the last 6 weeks, at the moment i cant seem to eat enough and unfortunately have started to feel a little bit of lower back pain.
i have only told a few people about the pregnancy, my OH of course lol, my physio, massage therapist, manager and a friend at work who i only told because i needed some support at the time. will tell close family at 12 weeks and then everyone else after scan at 13 +1.

last few days i have noticed i have started to put my hand on my belly not intentionally, i havent got a bump yet though, weird

hope people are enjoying their day and preg symptoms arent getting you down

I started symptoms a week as a half before my missed period. Really really sore boobs. Then got my bfp 5 days before period was due
