Lol. I'm really blonde so have a fair peaches and cream complexion but I noticed some really big dark hairs today. Freaking me out. Didn't have this first time round

Had my bloods done today, nightmare. I have rubbish veins, nearly fainted and took quite a few gos and many bruises later to get two virals. I was worried they would have to send me to the hospital to get it done asnearly didn't get enough.

Had my mum say to me again today how I shouldn't have kids, as they are really hard work. I am not sure where she is coming from with this one as she had 3 children and wanted more but stopped cos of hysterectomy, I hope when we tell her our news in a few weeks time that she will be happy, it does worry me a bit. My brother has one child and my sister has 2.

Also told my new boss I was pregnant went down well, she was trying to convince me to have my scan off as paid leave but I have decided to take the day as annual leave so I can relax and not worry about needing to get back to work

Hi all, after so early morning reassurance....I'm 8 + 4 and have started to get a dark bloody discharge.... No pain, sickness at all but a little concerned. Got my first midwife appointment on thurs but could really do with having my mind put at rest before then. Help!!

Hello, I would say if you are at all concerned call your local EPU if you have one or maternity ward and ask them what's best to do. They may scan you just to put your mind at rest.

Early Pregnancy Unit - many hospitals have one, contact your local hospital's maternity ward if unsure.

Hello, can I join you ladies please? I'm Elelyn and I got my BFP yesterday! I think I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. It will be my first baby (fingers crossed that it all goes okay) and I'm scared! I'm ecstatically happy of course but nervous about what is going to happen.

I hope this is the most recent list, I couldn't find it for ages but have a scan date, yay! Nearly had 26th Jan which woulda been awesome but interrupted my teaching hours but needed to get as many hrs as possible in case I can't teach practicals...

Odd as well, as soon as I rang for scan, I had a phone call from the midwife's based at my surgery to ask if I had bookes my scan and she sounded really nice she also gave me an edd of 25/08/12 whereas websites have been telling me 23/08/12 as cycle before this one was 27 days... hmm, still seems so far away, all of it!
