Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

thanks ladies. i just gotback. was there for 4 hours and it was so draining. :-(

rebekah it was only little bit but today whenever i wipe myself, i see blood like i am on my last day of period, so dark brown (muddy type).

anyway i went for this scan that was so uncomfy as they said before 12 weeks they cant use normal scan so it was vaginal one, and so weird because the doc said that i say that i am 8 weeks, and according to the scan it looks like the baby is 5 weeks. so either they have mis-calculated my num of weeks or the baby has stopped growing. i dont want to think negative so am praying it grows. i have to have another scan done in 10 days time to see if he/she grows. pray for me girls, please?

i just want to go home now.

does anyone else sometimes get so ravenous? today i want to just eat and eat! eek! i was supposed to go for a leg wax but my appointment is delayed to 1.30. so had two belvita biscuits to sort me out but i am still hungry..

the first pregnancy test i took had a faint line - i took it a few days before my period was due. i then took another one about 4 days later which showed an obvious line. when was your period due? maybe you need to wait a bit longer before testing again....

i am 30 - will be turning 31 about a month before the baby arrives
have felt very tired last few days and experiencing ibs problems, OH is very supportive and is looking after me.

rups - sorry to hear you have to wait 10 days till next scan, hopefully everything is fine and we are all thinking of you.

i am getting my first bloods done tomorrow, not looking forward to it as they always struggle to get blood out of me and i think they need about 3 virals. feels like ages till first scan on 30th jan.

the midwife has referred me to the consultant obstetrician which i think is a bit unessesary - its because my brother had a severely disabled child and i guess we have to talk about the possibility that there could be problems with my baby. thing is my sister has had two healthy children and didnt have to see a consultant about it........i cant really talk to family about it as keeping it quiet till i am 12 weeks. i am 9 + 4 today.

Maybe the consultant will just say nothing to worry about and send u back to midwife. They probably just being over cautious Hun. I have scan and bloods two and half weeks. They terrible getting blood from me too. Normally takes a few attempts lol

Hugs Sa-ra-ra and RUps, hope all works out well and beanies are growing and sticky.

Met my MW today who was lovely, different from last time, but has confirmed I will be under consultant led care after what happened last time, also couldn't find a vein to take blood so ended up going to the path lab at work (in a hospital) for them to do it, forgot how rubbish my veins are! Also when I was coming out my best friend was waiting for her appt, she is about 16 weeks now, bless her she is feeling so poorly and tired still.

Hope everyone is OK, I'm off to hunt down something else to eat as I am starving, think rice krispies are calling me!
