Hey everyone,

Doesn't look like good news from this end - I started spotting yesterday. I'm going to try and head down to the EPU tomorrow morning, but we're not really holding out hope; this is how the MC started last time.

i need to confess something on here, and am a bit embarrassed but it has been bugging me all night. i hope you can help? :-(

erm me and hubby havent you know since i told him i was pregnant.. but yest we felt a bit naughty.. erm. it was quite weird and uncomfy and later on, when i went to the loo, i saw some blood and freeked out. :-( it only happend whilst trying to get rif of the main man stuff. i couldnt sleep properly and then my right side was bit sore. maybe its in my head but i still feel umcomfy however luckily this morning, my pad was clear. i dont know what to do? i dont want to start panicking but shall i wait and see and then go to the gp? i felt so bad and hope that no damage has been done. . sorry for writing this here but i need some advise please?

ps. what is this epu clinic and how do you find one? sorry stupid quesiton

EPU = Early pregnancy unit.

If you google them, there's a list on the internet.

I'm heading down there shortly.

Bleeding a little after sex is really common and usually to do with the cervix being more sensitive. Or as my midwife put it 'things being a lot more vascular down there'.

Likewise, aches and pains during pregnancy are the norm so I wouldn't read anything into feeling a little sore.

Try not to worry, what you describe sounds normal.

thanks sa ra and fluffnutter.. phew. i was panicking and was all moody with hubby this morning, as was thinking and thinking. it is a weird pain though and not like my usual periody type or ibs type. hope it goes away.

sa ra good luck at the clinic. i didnt know youcould find them like that. can you just find one and walk in then? i didnt know about these. thank you. good luck and i hope everything is ok. x

oh my letter came through yest and i am seeing the midwife on the 13th...nothing more was said, so am i just assuming this is not the scan and just an appointment with her?

I get weird pains that I've never experienced before. Stretching and pulling and stabbing and twingeing in strange places. Your uterus is doing some crazy (but totally normal) stuff! It's so normal, don't worry x.

I'm still waiting to hear from my mw. I'm 8+1 and was expecting to have a booking in appointment at about 10w so was hoping to hear from them soon. I've still not got many symptoms so I'm desperate to have the scan to see if everything is OK. Trying not to be too neurotic but failing, lol.

Can I just ask how old everyone is? I'm an oldie and I'm having mental images of the people's reactions when we tell them. Going to be funny, when my old school friends are becoming grannies :rotfl:(I'm 41 btw, will be 42 when baby arrives!).
