    Hi Guys,

I *think* I might be able to move over to this thread from TTC... or at least I did until yesterday. I only found out last Friday that I was pregnant, and the 2 tests I took were both quite faint. I took a digi the next morning and it said 1-2 weeks, which was a little less than I thought I should be but not a great deal. I then took a test yesterday, which was fainter than the original, and another one this morning which was there but really difficult to see.
I had been having a lot of niggling on the right of my lower abdomen so started to worry about ectopic, but yesterday and today the mild twinges feel like strretching all over, so I have stopped worrying about that as much. I am really tired, have almost constant headache, sore boobs on and off and feel nauseous after I eat.
Has anyone else had a similar experience that ended either way? Its the not knowing that is making me crazy!

Not with the tests but the pain stretching etc sounds normal to me.
  • The only thing I can think of is that all the test are from the same batch? Did you buy the same ones all together? Perhaps buy a 99p pack from savers and double check?
Im pretty convinced you are though, its nigh impossible to get a fake positive.

They weren't all the same batch but 3 were frer. i have 2 left, but think I will try and wait until after the weekend. I am pretty sure I at least *was* pregnant, I'm just thinking I might be about to have an early miscarriage. But I feel so ill tonight with headache, dizziness and tiredness that there must be something going on!

If you miscarriaging you will have either major pain and/or bleeding.
If you have neither don't worry!

    Dibdabb,

have you been using FMU each time ?

They say that the depth of colour doesnt always strengthen with time so as long as you are getting a positive its a positive,

Chemical pregnancy is also sadly quite common as home tests are so sensitive these days

rest up and try not to stress

Dib I did a million tests that were so faint I didn't know if they were real so I did digital. It said preg 1-2 which seems to be from conception rather than lmp. If the digital says you are you are!!!! Congrats!!!
love you lots like jelly tots :o

Hi all, I wasn't going to shop either, but at those prices I couldn't resist!

I am doing a HND (genious timing hey!) and need to be able to write 6000 words on sources of finance for business, implications of finance as a resource, make financial decisions based on finance info and evaluate financial performance of a business. I just can't get my head aroung this kind of thing, but thought maybe looking at GCSE / A Level business studies as a basic may help me to get to grips with it.

Dibdabb, I can't help I'm afraid but hopefully you'll be here properly soon.

Anyone else getting restless legs? Really getting annoying now, have had for the few weeks in the evening.

Off to watch OBEM and scare myself silly!

i wish i could survive on an apple every hour or something little, but my urge is to eat till i am full, so ai m getting quite annoyed. at this rate, i will gain weight and i am not even at the gym. :(

Hi just de-lurking to add my thoughts on your problem! I was the same, permanantly starving and something small wasn't enough, I needed filling! I was quite worried about it as I usually put weight on REALLY easily but decided I'd best go with it as it was my body telling me what it needed (plus I fwelt horribly sick if I didn't!). i'm now 23+6 and I don't think I've really put any weight on other than my bump.

On the nuts thing, I made a point of asking about this as my brother is allergic to them and they said that these days they don't say to avaoid them but if you have a history of nut allergies in the family and you don't desperately need to eat them then you might as well avoid them to be sure. Its only peanuts too, all other nuts are fine. I've eaten quite a few hazelnuts and almonds but have mostly avaoided peanuts except for having an odd tracker bar very occasionally but I bet I've had less than a small handful if you added them all together.
