Thank you Kira. At the moment, i feel weird and cant stop thinking about it. i know people say that a MC is very common in the beginning and as silly as it sounds, no one can stop stressing about that can they? I didnt even know what to do next so jusr rang the GP.
Thank you for the welcome.
You are most welcome hon. Do feel free to stick your head round the main PG thread as well, if you have questions. We are a chatty bunch and there are usually folks around. Can be quieter in here!
I remember the first Tri well, esp the early days. It does feel a bit in limbo, when you have your positive result, but before the appointments start, and few symptoms, and 38 weeks seems like FOREVER away. Soon flies, believe me! And no, you never stop worrying! Too much sickness, too little sickness, no movement, too much movement... the fun never ends!
I would recommend using the early time to get ahead with reading a good PG book, it really helped me prepare for what lay ahead, so i felt less uncertain about what was normal. "What to expect when you are expecting" i found to be a really helpful book.
Good luck again, and try to relax and go with the flow!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

So was I lol. Infact I was thinking I wouldn;t at all as my mum and sister both had no sickness and sailed through both pregnancies! For me so far I seem to have everything. Although that said ... at least I am not being sick. But I said to hubby last night in bed I wish I could be just to relieve it! You might be one of the lucky ones. I am also lucky in that I don't have it every day. I can go a day or 2 being ok. Just seems to hit worse at weekends so far when you want to be busy doing things!!0

LOL. That was me too.. pretty much every day, several times a day. Its not nice, but you deal with it somehow. If you DO get struck with actual sickness, then my recommendation is always carry a bottle of water, some mints and a few emergency cereal bars with you.
1) The water- Being sick is ALOT easier and less unpleasant if you have liquid in your tum. Once you've been sick a few times in a row, everything gets a bit... dry, and you end up retching. If you can swig some water, the retching is less unpleasant.
2) Mints- obviously really. Makes you feel much fresher after a session in the loo!
3) Cereal bars- if you just lost your breakfast/mid morning snack/lunch then you will get hungry quicker and feel more sick if you dont eat again. Something quite plain like a ceral bar to much afterwards seemed to help me.
I also bought a few packs of travel sickness bags to keep in my handbag for emergencies when i couldnt get to a loo quick enough. Being stuck on public transport etc is horrific when you think you will be sick, so the back up of having a bag available, was a life saver, even if i never actually ended up needing one..Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!
