Not sure how far along you are, but one reason to consider going to A and E is if you have any symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy, for instance shoulder pain. I hope it settles down, but if you do get worried, call someone.0

I'm with Nicki, what will be will be and being at home would be better, nothing more can be done today whatever is or is not happening.
Pain is not awful and not that much blood, but is still 'fresh'.
Thanks for the well wishes, I'll let you know what the next step will be tomorrow.Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect, you've just decided to see beyond the imperfection.....0 -
If you don't have tons of blood you might be ok. I had enough to go down the toilet and to cover but not go through a pad. It was watery blood and no clots initially although it was bright When it did get more it was a bit darker and small clots. If it was heavier with bit clots I would have worried. I was also very lucky not to have any pain. I am still spotting dark mini clots here and there with watery stuff on and off now. I have a liner on but not enough to cover it. And she said I may just be a bleeder. Deffo call gp 1st thing as early as they open. I had to wait til the following day for my scan as the unit was only open mornings. If you get in real early they might get you in the same day.0

Just found this thread as wanted to see how Rebekah R was from the Pregnancy thread. Delighted that all is well. Your story gives me hope and I thank you for that.
I'm 8 weeks and have an emergency scan on Tuesday morning. It's good to read I'm not alone in this. I can't tell you the shock after the last day of period type bleeding to suddenly get a clot. Am not feeling too good, but have to just accept that nature will take it's course. I'm grateful the doctor at A&E confirmed my health was good, so I know it's not me that's affecting the baby... if that makes sense? What I mean is, that all my stats are good -BP 100/50, Oxygen sat. 99% and pulse a regular 67.0 -
Wow we are all going through it together. :-s Do you have heavy bleeding? Any pain? Hope all is ok for you both. The fear that goes through you is horrendous xx xx0

I'm very disappointed in you all. last week when I asked if any of you had had bleeding issues, it was not meant as an open invitation for everyone to start having potential symptoms and problems.
I hope all this stops right now, that nobody has any further bleeding or pain, and that this week's emergency scans are ok.
and I agree with the others, a miscarriage won't be stopped by doctors, they can only confirm if a pregnancy is ok or not. unless in major pain or bleeding, it is probably best to have the comforts at home.
take care, all, the longest 7 weeks ever, but hopefully the wait will be worth it...Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
Thanks for the support. I'm off work today as bleeding continues and whilst I'm not distressed, I need quiet time. I'd booked annual leave some time ago for tomorrow and am lucky to have the emergency scan booked for Tuesday 8.50am (the doctor said they need me to bleed for two days so that at the scan it will be easier to diagnose where the bleeding is coming from).
I did go to A&E on Sunday morning and glad I did as I'd not yet seen midwife so had my stats checked and talked through what the best way forward was. It was the doctor that said not to go to A&E if I miscarry unless there's pain. She said I'd be better off at home. I believe her to be right.
I am blessed with a wonderful OH. This baby is a gift from God to me (first pregnancy at the age of 44), but I know that nature can be brutal. I'm just taking it minute by minute.
Very, very best vibes to all the first timesters amongst us.0 -

Morning Rups, Congratulations! I'm sure some of the other ladies will be along to welcome you soon too.
Just thought i would pop in from the PG thread to say yes, period type cramps are very very normal. Some can be deep achy pains, some sharper. Hopefully they are all your bean digging in deep, and your uterus starting to stretch!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Thank you Kira. At the moment, i feel weird and cant stop thinking about it. i know people say that a MC is very common in the beginning and as silly as it sounds, no one can stop stressing about that can they? I didnt even know what to do next so jusr rang the GP.
Thank you for the welcome.
