Sorry sexki11en
I'm six weeks today. I've been having cramping since yesterday. Light ones, but don't go away. I'm worried. Had two miscarriages before.0 -
SK and Babymonster, I'm so sorry.
Amara, I hope everything is OK for you. Have you contacted your Mw or GP?
Dizziblonde, that's great news, glad to hear it.
Well, today another friend announced she is pregnant - 18 weeks! How one earth do people keep quiet for so long, and why do they want to? I totally get staying quiet till 13 weeks and the scan, but waiting till 16 or 18 weeks like my two mates have done? (second babies by the way) Why? I will be telling everyone once I've had my scan on Monday (assuming all is well of course:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Usually no blood is a very good sign, but if it were me I would want to have spoken to my MW or Gp and if you were to say you'd had some spotting they would definitely send you for a scan. WOW, I can't imagine waiting til 18 weeks, then again, we've told everyone already - I am not good at keeping things in
I am 9+6 today - got scan date through yesterday - 23rd November, seems sooooo far awayGetting impatient now!
My appetite has been off the scale over the last few days - last night I recounted everything I had eaten to OH and even he was shocked
Hope all ok, massive (((hugs))) to all who need them

Congratulations on your scan date! I got two in 'the books', one November 17th (10 weeks) and one December 2nd (12 weeks). But - these are not part of NHS, they are at the clinic we had IVF as part of the trial, so I might have another one around the last date as well!
I am looking forward to hearing from the midwife now - I was to get my book-in appointment. I can't do it next week (well, unless they can fit me in late afternoon on Friday!), so it will have to be the same week as my 10 week scan, or later!
Oh, and we didn't keep it either - we told people as we saw them/spoke to them!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hugs sk and babymonster.
My sickness is getting worse, been feeling very sick for most of today, thankfully not been sick. Hope do people cope with this.Married 09/09/090 -
My thoughts are with you sk and babymonster, I hope you're getting lots of care and love x
Hi Moneysaver,
I have felt sick pretty much all the time for the last 6 weeks. I am coping by:
1. Staying hydrated
2. Eating little and often, even though the thought of food may be turning your stomach, just a few bites of a banana or a slurp of a smoothie can get your blood sugar back up.
3. Avoiding strong smells: Urgh The Bin! Understanding hubby can help here
4. Light exercise, a bit counter-intuitive this one, but a gentle gym or swim after work perks me up no end plus I sleep better. Doesn't always work on my extreme tired days though.
I'm 10 and a bit weeks, and keep hoping that in 2 weeks I'm going to feel a whole lot better, I'm normally so full of energy and love food and cooking so have felt like part of "me" is missing in a way. I am being very well looked after, so I can't complain!0
