Mine is happy sleeping on my lap all evening on the sofa, and I feel guilty when I have to get him to move when I need to stand up, but then when I am in bed, in early hours of the morning needs cuddles (think 3-4am), and settles back again to sleep at about 5.30-6am, when I need to get up!

Thanks ginvzt, I think you and I are on the same sort of wavelength. I want to tell the people closest to me, the one's I go to if I need a shoulder to cry on.

Hi everyone, i think that i am 6 weeks and one day, and i am feeling some kind of movement in their. I didn't feel movement till i was 14 weeks pregnant with my little boy. What could this be.

I think it is way to early to feel the baby move! Could it be the stretching pains? Or, however undignified it sounds, the trapped air....

I thought it would be too early for baby, as baby so small. Not sure had it now for the past few days. It doesn't hurt. Also my tummy is bigger, wasn't flat to start with, but i haven't really put weight on and and my tummy was smaller than it is now.

Your baby at 6 weeks would be less than 1 cm (I found some references saying it would 4mm at that stage!!!), so I can' imagine you could feel the movement... Have you told your GP about the pregnancy yet? Maybe he/she can explain this?

My GP knows Ginvzt. Im due to see the midwife on the 28 November for my booking in appointment.

Seven sleeps till my scan now! No news my end, think I'm still pregnant but very hard to tell. Taking DD to an alternative Hallowe'en party tonight at our church so need to cobble a costume together in a minute for a space theme - I think big green tunic for an alien and maybe some alien ears on a headband.

Hope you're all well, congrats and welcome to the newbies!

I'm just into week 10 and waiting for the nausea to leave, can't wait to start enjoying food and cooking again, even opening the 'fridge door can make me heave some days.

I had my booking appointment last week, can anyone tell me roughly when I should get my scan date? Sooo excited/nervous about the scan.

So..



scan went fine, that was a very difficult picture to take due to wriggliness. i was very scared, trying to see the heartbeat when it first came up on the screen, the first thing i saw though was a nice little stretch!

I'm further along than they thought and i'm nearly 14 weeks now, due date moved to 3rd of may

My next scan is on the 23rd (!) of december!
