Emsbet, which MC coat is it, perhaps someone will have seen a similar one elsewhere?

Goodness this thread moves fast, great news phunkles, sounds amazing! Good job I had a docs appt this morning, seems the doctor forgot to tell me I need to make my booking appt, been waiting for a letter that will never arrive! Hopefully she will call me next Tue to arrange!

Feel a bit down as I had some brown discharge again this AM it seems to be every Fri and makes me worry all weekend when I don't have work to keep my mind busy, really need to relax this weekend but I'm such a worry wart.

It's this one http://www.mothercare.com/Maternity-Mac-with-Belt-Detail/dp/B004H28KE0?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_4&nodeId=265965031&sr=1-4&qid=1316773425&pf_rd_r=18RQZ17A6RYJ3Z8FH8HD&pf_rd_m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=265965031&pf_rd_p=231490867&pf_rd_s=related-tab-3-5 I've realised my size is not reduced because it's out of stock! :doh:Typical!

I also like this one http://www.mothercare.com/M2b-Maternity-Navy-Duffle-Coat/dp/B005LBDDQQ?ie=UTF8&pf_rd_r=0DQN647GVW440K6Q62QH&pf_rd_m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B004H28KE0&pf_rd_p=223220727&pf_rd_s=bottom-1 but I think £56 is a bit expensive

I've had quite a lot of brown discharge (and also some red)- I'm like you I seem to get it once a week maybe once every two weeks. It has me worried everytime I see it but baby is fine. I look at it as Sir Alex reminding me (s)he's there :)

  • Hi Flutterby_lil and Emmylou83
This is my second and I don't feel i can go through this again. I can't feed or change my wee one so my DH and various relatives are shouldering all the responsibility until I stop being sick.

I'm thinking about starting a family but both my mum and my sister suffered terrible morning sickness, so much so that my sister lost half a stone in two weeks because she could not eat anything, does anybody know if it runs in the family? i have quite a big commute to work and it would be good to be prepared!

No one else in my family has had bad morning sickness (and I have many nieces and nephews) nor my MIL (was desperate to blame anyone for it and I was prepared to blame DH and say it came from his side :D) So i don't think it runs in famillies I think it's just your luck to be honest and unfortunately you won't know until your up the duff and there's not an awful lot you can do about except stay close to a bathroom!

P.s. I know their clothes are very, very pricey but seraphine.com do beautiful maternity coats. This is going to be my treat as i have almost everything else I need from my first pregnancy maternity clothes wise and i benefited from friends/family having kids just before me (I have no shame, I'm happy to wear second, third or even fourth hand maternity clothes!)

  • hey ladies, sorry not been on in aaages, not been feeling well...have had bad sickness n diarheoa (sp) and lost a stone in a week (really not an issue considering i could probably do with losing another 12 or so!!), but even tho thats gone i still keep getting really horrible pains across the bottom of my belly and round my back. Starting to really worry that somethings wrong with the baby cos i don't feel pregnant anymore ...no more sickness, no nausea, no sore boobs, never wee'd more ...nothing :(

Scan yesterday has moved my due date forward - now the 27th March! 13+3
I was expecting the nuchal fold to be done - but she didnt - however even if shed tried shed of struggled I have a bouncing around like a lunatic baby in there - which insisted on being stood on its head the whole time - but bean did keep waving at us.
It was so reassuring - we got shown the brain, the working kidneys, the belly, the heart, bean was keen on showing us her hands (yes Ive counted the fingers)
She struggled to get the head circ as it kept wriggling and then it kept bouncing and spinning as she was doing the top to tail measurement.
    Everything looks fine apparently.

Im in awe - my scan picture looks like my baby has a skeletor head though:rotfl:

Oh and I was an hour early to get there and got seen straight away (I hadnt even drank all the water I was meant to but got a clear view of bean for 15mins bouncing around) And there was no oh we might struggle to get a clear pic like id read online that some larger ladies get when they go for a scan -phew!!!

Great news Phunkles!! I'm so pleaed for you... love the spinning and bouncing bean... it sounds so cute!!

    Gops xx

  • I've decided not to buy anything until I absolutely need maternity wear. I'm going down in weight rather than going up, I've lost 2 pounds but i think thats is due to eating a bit less cos I cannot take big meals anymore.

Will have to see how long before I cannot managed to button up my bottoms!! :)

I definitely needed them. I am not sure how much weight I have put on because I have not weighed myself since the week before I got married six months ago but I know it's a fair bit (although some of that was pre-BFP). I'm just happy to be comfortable again :D

  • Gops, u never know u might be having a boy, but i guess equally it could be a girl and u carry that sex better! I have a friend who can not carry girls at all without being sick for the whole 40 weeks!
Maternity coats, i been looking on Ebay, most people have only worn them a handful of times anyway! Also, dont forget Next sale starts 2moro, not sure what they have in Maternity though?
I`ve put on about 7lb so far :( more than i wanted, and considering i go to the gym 3 times a week i was hoping to put on less but hey ho!
