  • Fingers crossed for him Simple xx

Did (yet another!) test this morning and the line is SO much stronger than the last 3 so I'm happy, registering with the doctor this afternoon so hopefully that'll get things started on that side xx

    Morning all.

    I am a nervous wreck.

Terrible night sleep again. I just can't get comfy. I slept from 10 til 2 then wide awake :((

Spent all day crying yesterday, didn;t move out of the house apart from to go to my mums cos i wanted to cry to her :( my fella is so supportive but just didn't get it.

I was ready to cry this morning when leaving for work so told him to get off me or I would cry again, so he's a bit upset with me although he says he isn't.

Leaving work for my scan in 20 mins........will report back tonight after college, first night tonight, couldn't have come at a worse time.

Sorry to hear about the baby boy simple. Fingers crossed. Good luck for your scan.
  • Good luck to simple and flutterby_lil for your scans today! xx

Laura - my skin had a massive break out while I was away between 6-8 weeks :( its thankfully starting to clear now - I use Boots Tea tree and Withc hazel and it honestly didnt matter how often I cleansed it or put on night time reduction gel stuff they where there to stay (and wherent even poppable :()

Testing - Im still tempted to do tests even now and Im 12 + 3 today :s
But the digi tests I did confused me - Friday 1-2, 5 days later on the Weds - 3+ (so my peepee level jumped somewhere along the way)
(I may of taken photos of my digi test results cause they fade and they made me smile)

(I also did a tescos test, and 2 boots cheapy tests - I hated the boots cheapy tests though!!! Window far to small and the test line was a horrible purpley washed out colour)

Getting nervous for the scan now :s seem to have a few scenarios running through my mind.

Struggling to sleep here too - despite being tired :( Downstairs falling asleep upstairs in bed wide awake and thinking - only thing thats helping is paul mckennas think yourself thin track on my ipod - not that I actually listen to it i shut me eyes and then i fall asleep he has a very sleep inducing voice :)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
  • Hi Everyone

Not quite ready to leave Trying For A Baby Part 7 yet so dipping in and out of both.

    I had a BFP last Thursday :D

Then I was away for the weekend without my OH (It was already booked etc) , it was a shame, so hasn't really felt real until today. Giving myself a bit of a day off as well lol. (I work from home)

Went to Docs today but turns out I should have made appt with midwife so now have 1 next Wednesday. That's okay but I was kind of hoping for some reassurance/advice this morning.

I go from intense symptom searching to not believing it is real :rotfl:

I had BFP last Thursday, my last period was 18th August the Clearblue test said 1-2 weeks

I just hope it all goes ok. I have never been pregnant and my OH hasn't been through it either. We got married in July and started trying from then so been really lucky. I just hope all goes well.

Going to go back a few pages of this thread now to catch up on your latest goss :o

This place is a lovely safe haven, thanks to all who responded last night, I needed a boost, you're all lovely people :A

Told my mum this morning as I'm away for work this week, delivering training which I hate doing, shy soul that I am, and so feeling really fragile, she gave me the biggest hug and I knew immediately that telling her was the right thing to do, you never stop needing your parents do you :o she encouraged me to tell my sis on Thur when I get back and will have a quiet word with my Dad, he's not the sole of discretion so she will impress on him that at just eight weeks he's lucky to know, and can't tell a soul, she's a star my mum and I know DH will be disappointed that I couldn't hold off, but when you need your mum you need your mum...
  • LegalBlonde, I think that means we're pretty much at the same point! xx
  • Hamsterlady how exciting :):) Have you been to docs/mw yet?? How do you feel???

Amymo I got married a few months ago, was arranging it for over a year, and my cousin was my BM, she told me really really early on she was pregnant I was really grateful and by the time the wedding came round I was totally used to it and had made plans for it so I would def confide in your sis x

  • I'm not too bad, mainly got sore boobs at the mo, and a small amount of nausea but not too bad. Still need to register with the doctor, we moved and promptly got sacked by our last surgery because we moved too far away! So need to reregister and then try and get the next appointment I can! Although still just keeping everything crossed that it keeps hanging on and growing away in there! How are you? xx
  • I am good thank you alot of the time I think it is just all in my head as plenty of people are pregnant at this stage and don't even know!! But i have felt a bit faint a few times and a bit sick right in the middle of a big meal which is so not like me! Today I am soooooooo tired and have a headache but like I say if I didn't know I probably wouldn't think much of it. I am lucky I am working from home right now as having a bit of a day off and watching rubbish on TV! xx
