Yes Emsbet this is my first boy, i`m actually quite scared! Although everyone assures me that boys are alot easier than girls, so thats keeping me positive atm ;) Are you enjoying your mini holibobs? Hope the weather is better for you than it is in Shrewsbury :(
Happydays, i`m 17 weeks now, and have found i`m actually able to go the whole night now without getting up to wee :) yay! So hopefully it will get better for you!

    Hello ladies!

Hope everyone is feeling OK this morning.

Long-term MSE lurker here (we're talking years...) - just finished reading through the 264 pages of this thread  (nope, I don't have a life now that I'm pregnant)! Have learnt soooo much already, including that it's normal to be scared, worried and just a little bit irrational at times. ;) So hope you don't mind me joining you.

I'm 6+6 (officially) or 5+2 (my dates) with my first child and DH and I are very very excited! :j

    xx
  • Morning all.

Thanks for the good luck wishes emsbet. I must admit I am an emotional and nervous wreck today :( had a long cry last night and could start again any minute. I have had the runs for 3 weeks now and it's not getting any better.

Re the weeing, i only go about twice a night, i have always had a week bladder and had some bladder retraining excercises to do so think that has helped me.
  • Oh and just weighed myself and weigh exactly the same as when I got pregnant. Also exactly the same as when I got pregnant with DS.

I am 12 weeks today. What is everyone else like for weight gain?

    Hi Nutella
    Congratulations and welcome.

I am 9 weeks tomorrow and the last couple of weeks have been really hard. Feel sick most of the day and this weekend have hardly moved from the couch.

A couple of things I have found that help

Plain Ritz crackers and also small segments of apple - not together mind. (I buy the small bags from the supermarkets that you would put in a lunchbox) this seem to help until I am ready to eat properly.
    Also sipping lots of water

    Glimmer:)

  • I'm not feeling too bad at the mo, 4+1 and not had any sickness yet, only a little bit of nausea, mainly sore b00bs that alerted me to somethingbeing different! Starting to feel a little bit more tired but not as bad as I've heard it gets. Just need to get in with the doctor asap now to get sorted on that side of things xx
