Hi all. I was wondering if any of you experienced a sensation like someone was poking your tummy in the early stages of pregnancy? I'm only approximately 4 weeks and a few days and have felt period like pains which I know are normal but have also felt a strange sharp stretchy type feeling on the right side of my stomach just above the pubic bone. It's not really really painful just feels unusual. I am a bit worried, but also know I may be worrying over nothing. Antone else had the same?0

I think it sound pretty normal. I got and am still getting all sorts of pains. Some like normal period pains, some sharper, some more like a stitch or a pull. At 4 weeks, some of the sharper ones are your bean digging further into the womb lining, others are stretching of your uterus. Plenty of other things to come!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I had a look at ones near Bolton. They looked to be about £80-90 for early scan which I think is fairly standard. Strangely the later scans 20+ weeks are cheaper.
xx
THe cheapest I've found is £75. Most of them are around £100. last time we paid £120 because I went to a specialist in early pregnancy as I wanted her to really know what she was doing, but we can't afford that this time and as all I really want is to see a heartbeat (went too early for that last time so needed the yolk sac analysing) then I think the cheapest will be fine. It's amazing how much they cost though! DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Another completely sleepless night. On top of all my relationship problems, I just can't stop going to the toilet!! It's keeping me up night after night and I'm having to go at least every hour. Has anybody else had this? Im panicking I'm going to spend the next 30 weeks like a zombie!!!
Hope everyone else had a good nights rest and all of you are well

Is anyone else still testing just to make sure? Hubby thinks I've flipped because I've done 5 in 3 days and he then has to sit through me analysing whether or not the line its stronger and why the digital one hasn't ticked over to 2 to 3 weeks yet x0

Morning all. Still on my mini holiday and still being a saddo checking in
slept more than I was awake last night so that was good. Awake now though but DH is still asleep.
Happydays I hope things get better for you soon. Some ladies suffer more than others with the weeing like some suffer more with ms than others. I think it usually eases off in the 2nd trimester.
Lisa I've had no more I think it's just one of those things I will get every few weeks. The midwife told me after my early scan I didn't need to go back to the hospital unless it was full red flow soaking a pad and passing 50p sized clots so I'm using that to keep me calm.
Emmylou congratulations! This is your first boy?
Hamster lady  hello and congratulations. I took 15 tests up until 6 weeks. DH worked out I spent £80+ (there were 4 digis!) he wasn't very impressed. If you want the digi to change I would give it a good week. Don't panic if it takes a bit longer for it to change as hormones can be slower to build up in some people.
Candlewax I've had that. You will get all sorts of cramps, pulling, twinges, sharpish pains. It's just stretching to accommodate baby.
