Hi all
Spent 3 hours in A&E this afternoon. Been having some pains in my right side. I've had cramps and pullings but nothing like this and as i work in the hospital my colleagues thought it best if i just went and got checked out. Dr was AWFUL! Said to me that i was just a neurotic pregnant woman and they see about 15-20 of them per day be in pains or bleeds. I just thought he was horrible, i have quite a high pain threshold and wasn't making it up. I'm still very uncomfortable and sore now but there's nothing i can do. Waited 3 hours he came in, spoke to me like a child for 4 minutes and that was that-not too impressed to say the least.
Fingers crossed everything is ok from here on in
Hope everyone is well x0 -
Darkphaery My experience of A&E staff are horrendous and nothing pregnancy related, I got off a plane and my whole leg had swollen up so went straight to A&E was in agony and after waiting 4 and a half hours the doctor took one look at my leg and said it's fine! I was so angry I burst into tears and he basically looked at me in disgust. I wouldn't ever go back now, even if my leg was hanging off.
Harry Potter was amazingI cried at so many scenes
I wanna go again but not sure OH will. Loved it.

I remember the explosive poops newborns do though so sometimes it cant be avoided :rotfl:
You will find conflicting advice on everything to do with babies, try to not think about all the minor details too much as you will end up in a spintrust me when the time comes you will be fine

Thanks to everyone for all your help and advice over the past few weeks.
We received some possible bad news just 2 days after the scan showed everything seemed to be fine and now the test results are in and our fears have been confirmed.
Our little girl has a condition with no chance of survival and we have to let her go.
I wish all of you all the best and hopefully I will be back here soon x R0 -
