Just got back from our scan. We're 11+6 (as our 8 week private scan suggested). Due date is 1st Feb (12/12 - quite like that date - lol) Everything looks fine and the nuchal fold was 'normal'. We'll be sharing the news with family in a couple of days. What a relief......

Ro - I'll be stalking you tomorrow on 12-24 (and I'm bringing KFC piccies with me)

Only just joined this thread today but would like to give my deepest sympathy to Roxolana What a terrible situation to go through, hope you stay strong.


Doesn't really feel right talking about pregnancy hearing such sad news, however what is everyones views on the clear blue digitals? I went to doctors today and he didnt even do a confirmation test- so i took it upon myself to buy a clearblue digital test and it told me i am 3+ weeks, which you then add 2 weeks conception on meaning i am 5 + weeks, going by my dates this means i probably am 5+3 hmm, not sure if to trust the test though

The clearblue tests are fab candie_gill. The doctor should have asked about last period etc, and worked out your due date from that, when you go for your dating scan they will give you a more accurate due date. The doctor worked mines out to be 2 weeks ahead of what I was, went for my dating scan and bubs was a speck on the screen

I joined this board a week ago but I've had no internet for the last week so am just catching up. I've had my own scare, I had the same brown spotting as Lucy since yesterday morning. I phoned the early pregnancy team at my hospital and they gave me an appointment today where I had a scan. Good news so far, everything is as it should be, although I was warned it's early days yet (between 5 and 7 weeks, it was too early to be accurate, I reckon 6 3). Everyone says I should be relieved but I'm still a bit worried as the spotting hasn't stopped.
