Hi sugargurlie. Hope you're ok. It's worrying stuff this pregnancy lark tho isn't it? From what I'm reading on the net,it's very common in the first 10 weeks or so.

Hey everyone haven't really had time to come here just popped in earlier and saw the sad news so wrote quick msg and went straight back out have had a read back though.

Twigpig - congrats on your scan :) woo hoo got mine on thurs although am supposedly 12+ 4 today according to the emergency scan we had but we'll see gonna start making maternity leave plans when I have a proper EDD in writing lol I'm not doing it before then.

Am a bit scared for this scan even though we have seen beanie 3x now and all appears well I'm stressing something will be wrong so fingers crossed it isn't !

There are an awful lot of us about to graduate this thread soon I should've already but wanted to wait for the scan anyway I think I'll be like pigpen and Ro and keep coming back for a nosey lol I joined the big pregnancy thread today which was a bit scary lol but i'm there now.

    Anyway hope everyone is well

Mozzy - are u still here ? Did u end up ordering a doppler or decide against it ?

Am at work tomorrow but will update Thursday after our scan :D Oh I almost forgot to say I am very definately feeling movement my friend thinks I am crazy but definately feeling it only in certain places and all seems to be around my tummy tuck scar where the skin is very thin its only internal movements and you obviously can't feel through my tummy but is this wierd am I making it up ? I feel like Zoe Tate in emmerdale here lol

    xx

    Speak to you all soon

Amanda- I'm only 9 weeks and am sure I felt a little fluttering. Thought it was my imagination but there are other people who have felt movements early on. Apparently it depends on "how in tune with your body" you are. I knew from the night of conception that I was pregnant. Weird stuff

It certainly is strange Lucy its been happenning for a few days now but today it was a full blown wallop ! Like I say my friend looked at me like I'm mad when I spoke about it to her earlier ! I s'pose I am in tune with my body though I know everytime I ovulate and I knew I was pregnant when I conceived too then doubted myself but was certain 4 days before I could test that I was the day before I got my BFP on a clear blue I tested FMU using a first response and got a BFN only for OH to tell me I knew nothing and was imagining my pregnancy lol it certainly felt good to tell him the next day that I wasn't making it all up :rotfl: and show him the test ! Bless him he had believed the first response but I knew it was wrong

Mozzy can you tell me how much notice you had from recieving your letter to the appointment? Also if you are allowed to bring more than 1 person into the scan?

    Morning everyone.

I think that my booking appointment was about 2 hours long too. She didn't seem to be slow, there was just a lot to fill out etc. I had a home visit, so not sure if that made any difference to how long it took.
