TTC #3..........0 -
This baby is draining me. Had to scoff 4 chocolate digestives earlier to even have the energy to make dinner. Had a thumping headache since last night and it just won't go away.
Twigpig My scan wasn't until 4 o clock on a Friday afternoon, was bouncing about all day, but the nurse said to me good to go at the end of the day as less likely of waiting around, so hopefully it's the same for you, we got took early. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Hello Mozzylong time no speak...

button mix :eek: my stomach was maaasiiive after that lot :rotfl:
Hello Gilly (quote)'This baby is draining me. Had to scoff 4 chocolate digestives earlier to even have the energy to make dinner'
... that was actually quite virtuous in comparison to the above
Anyway hello All and hopefully will be seeing some of you soon on the 'other' side:rotfl:

Hi ladies!!
Had another fillet rounder with fries on Friday night:D Y U M M Y
I've been obsessed with 2 things.
A - what does a newborn sleep in (bedding wise), especially with it being the coldest month when baby is born
B - baby bath or bath support, or both???
grobags are fantastic, we had them with both of ours and its great to know they cant kick them off during the night. Downside being that if they have an accident during the night you need to keep a spare to hand.
As for baths, we used a baby bath as it was easier to fill and clean (we have a big, old deep bath)
Looks like im lucky enough to be joining you all

Hello Mishka :j congratulations! Like your cat picture!!
Mozzy - forgot to mention I think I am going to use the bidet for babies baths as I think it has strategically placed taps, what dya reckon :rotfl::rotfl:failing that the kitchen sink, now before you baulk I have actually read that someone does actually do that:rotfl:not sure about doing the dishes afterwards though !!!!!!!0 -
We'l be using the sink Ro, for the first few months anyway. Our flat is teeny tiny, no room to store a baby bath, we'l be moving out when bubs is 3 months. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I've bathed all mine in the kitchen sink.. I bleach it so it is nice and clean.. bath the baby (I have never ever had a bath support thing.. they look dangerous to me! Plus I have 2 arms.. ) then use the sink as normal.. it isn't like the baby is filthy and germ riddled is it.. unlike dirty pots which are gross!
I bathed tiddles in my sink until she was about 2.5!
Bedding.. bodysuit, sleepsuit and cardigan.. a grobag and a couple of blankets usually in freezing months. .. and if they wake up too frequently I put another blankt on! .. if they need 1 layer more than us (which is a complete pile of claptrap) then they need to sleep next to daddy too!!
I am always boiling yet he and Squeak are always freezing cold so have loads more covers than me.. I kick them all off!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Really concerned. Woke up and went to the bathroom and noticed a bit of a brown discharge. I would have been due my second period around now. Is this anything to worry about? From what I gather as long as it's not red blood and there's no pain,it's quite common. Still very worried tho:(:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove
