Lucy - wonder if they'll do your booking in and scan all at the same time? If they definitely won't, I'd chase them by phone, or your scan date would be later than expected. If you don't have a number, just ring switchboard and ask for pre-natal or something, lol. Might take half an hour, but I'm sure you'd eventually get the right person :)

Nikki - Congrats on moving to the 12-24 thread. Hope to join you soon. :D

My 12 week scan is tomorrow (we're 11+6 or 12+3). I know some of you have said the time passed quickly. I think for us, it has dragged by, but glad we're actually there now. Just hope all is ok, so we can share our news. Going to be SO nervous tomorrow. It's not until 4.30pm.......

Lucy, I've noticed that I've been having a few more headaches too. I'm doing a lot of computer work so I'm trying to be very careful about taking plenty of breaks, and also drinking plenty of water, and I think that has helped a bit.

My booking in appointment would have been at just before 10 weeks if I'd not been away, so hopefully you'll hear something soon Lucy. I'm hoping to get my scan date through soon!

DH has told me that if they try and move my due date to 4th Feb or earlier at the scan, I should just burst into tears at them, and hopefully they won't go further back than the 5th to make sure I get the SMP. Worth a try!

I've got a lung function assessment at work this afternoon, as I work with chemicals occasionally and my work is just covering themselves, I think. So far HR / H&S don't know I'm pregnant, as I'm not really needed in the lab at the moment anyway. I suspect a barrage of even more tests and risk assessments will be needed when I tell them today! Have no idea what to expect from a lung function test, hopefully it'll just be one of those 'blow into this' meters and that's all!

We've not bought anything yet, we're planning on waiting until the big announcement at 12 weeks and then hoping that some of our friends will offer to lend/give some of the things their kids ahve outgrown.

From there we will think about what needs to be bought.

As this is our first we don't really ahve a clue about what is needed and what is deemed as needed by the baby manufacturers!

The only thing I am keeping my eye open for is a baby suitable cuddly toy in the shape of a black and white cat like our cat Snoop ;)

    Hi ladies!!

Had another fillet rounder with fries on Friday night :o:D Y U M M Y

I've been obsessed with 2 things.

A - what does a newborn sleep in (bedding wise), especially with it being the coldest month when baby is born

B - baby bath or bath support, or both???

    Hey mozzy -

I think we'll get one of those growbag things for sleeping in. (amazon)
And I saw this for bathtime :) (amazon)

Not going to buy [STRIKE]anything [/STRIKE]much before the 20 week scan though :rotfl:
