HI Twigpig!!! Last night I had jacket potato with cheese and butter. Was yummy!! Then a muller light fruit corner, even yummier!!!
I'm loving crusty bread with butter at the moment. Nice and plain and tasty!
Thinking I may need to go and see doctor again about constipation. Whenever I try go to the toilet, my stomach hurts and its such a big effort.(sorry for the tmi!! lol) Just don't fancy anyone looking down there though!
I still have a slight upset tum but it def is easing off now. Sore throat has vanished
Seem to have a lot more energy today so using this to catch up on all my housework.:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

I've been feeling cold too, still needing my jumpers and winter coat - I even got my gloves out for walking to work yesterday!
Had my booking in appointment today, nothing exciting just lots and lots of forms, and a blood test. They worked backwards from the due date the doctor gave me and said I'm 10+2, when I know that it's 11 weeks tomorrow since last period! Am wondering if the doctor was a few days out with the due date - I'd noticed that I'd been told I'm due several days later than Mozzyc even though we should be at the same point! While it shouldn't make a huge difference, they're writing to the hopsital to arrange my scan date with 10+2 on, so it might mean I'll have to be patient about a scan for a few extra days.
Mmm, jacket potatoes sounds like a great idea!0 -
Oh, and apparently they don't do NHS antenatal classes in my area. I either have to pay, or hope that something called SureStart(?) (I'm sure it's in a leaflet) might have a free place. Grrrr.0

Afternoon Ladies,
Hope your are all OK! I'm at nearly 10 weeks now and fingers crossed, starting to feel a little better and not as sick and tired!
Just a quick question, I'm going away with my hubby at the end of August and the place we are going has a hot tub, would I be OK to use this do you think? I will be 16 weeks by then. I've looked on-line and there is a lot of conflicting information. Think I might call the midwife and ask, though I don't want to sound like I'm asking silly questions!
Soooo pleased its Friday, nice relaxing weekend planned with lots of resting and being looked after by my husband!
Take care.

I would say No. You're not even meant to have hot baths now, or anything that will make you overheat.
From everything i've read, hot tubs are a big no no. Sorry!DFD February 2012

On babycentre it says as long as the temp is not over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Would you be able to control the temp yourself?DFD February 2012

Grrrrr I feel so peed off and have no idea why. I've moved here and don't know anyone, I'm trying so hard to get a job but there is nothing, and I feel like I'm running out of time. I have no where to go everyday when OH is at work
it's really getting me down. I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself. I need a slap around the chops

Yes its a private hot tub with the hotel room and you can control the temp. Just worried about the chemicals etc, though they only use the same things as a swimming pool and swimming in pregnancy is encouraged!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Hi, hot tubs are a HUGE no no when pregnant i'm afraid. Not only is the heat a problem, but also they are rife with bacteria that you could easily deal with when not pg, but when PG are considered very risky indeed. My PG book specifically says avoid!

hi guys hope every1 is good.
with regards to the hot-tub i also have a cottage booked with a hot-tub and i would be 18 weeks pregnant when we went i have checked with doc and u cant use the hot tub whilst pregnant sorry.
Maybe u can do what i have done and i phoned hoseasons and explained the situation and they have moved my holiday to next year at no extra cost so i can enjoy the hot tub and have a good soak when little nugget will be asleephubby and i are just going to look at somewhere else maybe a holiday park for the week we would have been going away so at least i can go swimming.
hope this helps.0
