    Hey Mozzy !

The difference between te two models is that the top one (which I have) does not have an LCD screen which displays the heartrate where the other one does.

It doesn't really make much difference to me its easily to distinguish between the two the baby's heartrate is roughly twice as fast as yours you pick up lots of uterus sounds when looking and will hear the whoosing sound of the placenta and your veins but when you find baby you will know Some prefer the LCD so they can see the rate for themselves some people think that makes it easier to determine which is which.

The other option on there is to take the same doppler at a higher price which then becomes yours after 6 mths not worth it for me as this is my last bubba but had it been my first I wouldve definately just bought one !

Congrats Ro :) see you over there in a week-ish.

I'm so grumpy today, I'm not sleeping well as it is, OH was hogging the bed last night, combine that with hourly trips to the toilet and you have one tired Gilly, I could scream.

Hugs to those who are feeling pants and welcome all the newbies.

I had my scan yesterday afternoon they were running late by an hour  problem with the printers or something but it was worth the wait (and luckily my letter did not say have to have the full bladder thank god!! seems to depend where you are and scanning equipment). Lady at reception said you can go off and come back in 30-40 mins as they were late and def preferred her being honest so we could go elsewhere to sit/wander, as less stressful.

Was worrying was going to get there and nothing would be inside me on the screen but something deffo did appear and
was moving  hubby was staring intently but he said afterwards he was expecting that it wasnt going to be so clear, big or look so baby like. Anyway at least I dont have to go to my mothers for a month cause he said if there was nothing in there thats where I would be going as i have caused him such grief!!

Seems that a week did not need to be taken off due to pcos was supposed to be 12 wks yesterday but I was convinced they were going to say 10 or something then she said its 13 wks :D so big sigh of relief. I am always going to worry about another mc but feel have got over the first hurdle.

So good luck to all those on the less than 12 thread, I hope you all get on well and I hope to see you on the 12-24 soon.

But I will be noseying to see how you all are on here!!

    Take Care

I constantly need to wee!! Feel like there's a constant pressure on my bladder. And i've always been bad, ie, the slightest feeling of needing a wee I have to go. So now, i'm sometimes going every half hour or so during the night. I must go at least 7-9 times. And we've got a squeaky bed so keep waking DH up. :o
