I think going off at least some meat, is actually quite common in pregnancy from what i have read. I think more people seem to be able to manage to physcially eat poultry than red meat, but handling or looking at raw poultry apparently makes more women feel queasy.

Send the OH's to the kitchen to cook the kitchen then i reckon!

I managed a piece of cod for dinner with my wedges tonight, and its stayed down. Horrah! Plus i had a mini calypo lolly for my pudding, as extra liquid, which went down very well. They are my recent discovery. Even when i cant keep down water, i seem to manage one of those, and the coldness seems to help the nausea.

Off to bed now, can't keep my eyes open any longer.

Glad I'm not alone in the meat thing. I noticed today I felt really queasy opening the fridge because I can really smell the raw bacon, and I was heaving like mad, dishing up the dog's breakfast lol.

Not sure if it's just me but every time I take a shower, I honestly feel so light headed after it I need to sit down for a good 10 minutes. Tried adjusting the temperature but theres only so cold I can take it. Don't even start me on baths, I've never been able to cope with them, I'm light headed after 2 minutes.

Do you have low blood pressure? I do, and managed to pass out once just after getting out of a shower, my other half caught me just after I smashed my face into something! :D

I can't even open my kitchen cupboards without holding my breath, because there is a faint smell of stale cooking that I'd never noticed before!

I'm not sure :( I got it checked a few weeks ago, they didn't mention it was low. I think the bottom number was 68, so not that low really.

So glad your results were good Kira! Damn, can't believe we've got another scan to stress over at 20 weeks. This is going to be a long long 9 months. smiley-sad006.gif

It may seem like it but once you hit 20 weeks it all goes sooo fast believe me! :D

    Hello Gilly,
I get that in the shower so quite often I am steadying myself in the shower and am unbelievably careful getting out as feel unbalanced.
So your not on your own there. I go to mw on tues so will be interested to know what bp is ie if low.

I found this about dizziness when showering/bathing in pregnancy....
"Getting overheated Spending time in a very hot room or taking a hot bath or shower can cause your blood vessels to dilate, lowering your blood pressure and making you woozy.

If you feel dizzy when you get too hot, avoid stuffy crowded places and dress in layers so you can shed clothes as necessary. Take warm showers or baths instead of hot ones, and try to keep the bathroom cool."

Sounds like its failry common in PG.
    Hope that helps reassure!

I have suffered from it with all 3 of my pregnancies. I found it best to just get out of the shower, and sit down straight away. Try to have a glass of water ready for you too! I`m afraid mine didnt ease up until i`d had the baby :/ but u get used to it and will find your own way to make u feel better quickly! xx
