Hmmm now I fancy some cheese too now :rotfl:
Sounds silly but I got so excited when I picked up my pack from my "Emma's diary" booklet yesterday from argos. I remember picking mine up from boots years ago. Def sinking in now.:T

Mmmm. I'm going to make some oven baked potato wedges for my dinner. I think i might melt some grated mozzarella over them - purely to up my protein intake clearly... such a sacrifice.

Hi Emmylou.
Welcome and congrats. Glad you finally got the BFP after all the testing!
I think the food no nos are probably the same as always: no pate, no raw egg products, no unpasteurised cheese or blue cheese, or soft cheeses with mould outsides (ie brie, camembert). Umm. No liver, avoid shellfish if poss, better to eat well cooked meat than on the rarer side. Minimise alcohol and caffeine. Other than that, try and eat sensibly, and balanced diet. But if you are sick, just have what you fancy, and dont force yourself to eat things you dont fancy just cos you think you should have them!
Other than that, just go with the flow, and fingers crossed you have a nice easy 9 months!

... been stuffing kleenex in my bra today to stop my nips touching the seams of my bra as they were on fire!!!think i need to stuff kleenex down mine to hide my er3ct nipoleons! the whole office can see them at the min! and my jubblies are very sore too and im also sleeping in my bra - the things us women have to do ey! xx
I've taken to wearing breast pads already. When it is cold, or I go in the fridge / freezer section in the supermarket they ping out and hurt like someone is nipping them  The breast pads seem to help, kind of like a bit of insulation in there, and they hide them when they are perky.0 -
Not sure if it's just me but every time I take a shower, I honestly feel so light headed after it I need to sit down for a good 10 minutes. Tried adjusting the temperature but theres only so cold I can take it. Don't even start me on baths, I've never been able to cope with them, I'm light headed after 2 minutes. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I feel so reassured! I thought I was the only one who suddenly can't stomach meat!
My cheese phase has pretty much ended now - for me it was babyb*l and cheese triangles! Although that post about wotsits has really made me want some.
Very hard day. Have been very very ill since 6am this morning and stupidly went to work. Albeit nearly 2 hours late! Trying to hide the reason for this from colleagues who don't know I'm pregnant is also very hard.
Bizarrely I've also been invited been invited to a hot tub party. I've never even seen one in real life before never mind been invited to drink champagne in one - and now I can't accept either!0
