Morning all.
On the subject of toast, cheese toasties seem to be an early craving of mine. :rotfl:
When did morning sickness kick in for everyone? I felt very sickly yesterday, but wasn't actually sick. Hubby also thinks it's funny that I need a power nap to get me to dinner time :rotfl: (I'm 6w today).TTC #3..........0 -
Hey twigpig! I'm also 6 weeks today! First day of last period was the 30th April. I've had no sickness yet. But I'm putting on weight quickly which is annoying. I'm eating rather healthy and don't really have chocs or sweets. I have cereal for breakfast, a healthy sandwich for lunch, fruit and a fairly healthy dinner. Plus my boobs are so much bigger. I rolled onto them in my sleep last night, OW! So painful Haha. My one worry is that I'm a twin! LolDFD February 2012

I've had such a long lie today, so lazy. Woke up feeling alot better so that's good. Planning a lazy day today, maybe head to the cinema tonight if I feel up to it. My bloat was gone by 6 weeks Mozzy
that's a shame. My boobs don't seem to be getting any bigger (thank god, don't think I could handle it this early) but they are really sore.

Hi Ladies!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I am only 5 weeks gone and I'm soooo impatient! Not had much sickness, had a very watery mouth and sore boobs/nipples. I'm so glad of this thread, its such a relief to know I'm not the only one feeling like its not real and I'm not really pregnant! I've taken 5 pregnancy tests so far and still don't believe it!
Can I ask you other ladies a personal question regarding sex in early pregnancy? Yes or no? My hubby is always up for it (like most men!) and we normally spend alot of time in bed. I have read that it is perfectly healthy to keep having sex, but I just can't relax enough! Maybe after 12 weeks I'll be more relaxed!
These next few weeks are going to really drag!
Have a nice Saturday all.

Hey Janni! My husband isn't too keen right now. I think he'll get more eager after the 12 week scan. At this moment he is just too nervous about doing it. And I'm ok with that
I'm so bloated, have sore boobs, and just don't feel good about myself just yet. I don't feel pregnant, just fat Haha.
Gillyx- hopefully mine will go soon like yours!
I know they work out your pregnancy from the first day of your last period, so that makes me 6 weeks today. But truly, I know when I ovulated, so really, I am only around 4 weeks today. So, still early days really.DFD February 2012

Afternoon Ladies!
Long time lurker but I need to tell someone that I'm pregnant!! :j:j
I'm 6+3 weeks (according to the world wide web!) and have my midwife appointment on the 1st July
I'm soo excited! When are you informing your parents/siblings etc?? I feel a little guilty as I've told my work because of some heavy lifting and chemicals I work withAnd I'm hoping they will understand.....Or I might not tell them I have told work!

Hi everyone.. Just back home from the scan. Wow. Such a relief! There is definately a bouncy beanie in there, just one, but MY, can the kid move. It was waving, somersaulting, twisting and turning like mad, she could hardly get a fix on it to take the scan pic! We had a listen to the heart beat too, which was lovely. So, i feel like i can safely tell grandma on weds for her 90th, and relax for my official first scan at 12 weeks on Friday.
Hubby was quite emotional seeing beanie on the 60" screen bopping away. I think it helped make it feel more real for him, as till now he just saw/heard me being sick!
Another positive, is my appetite is coming back for different foods, to the extent i forced DH to pull over at a harvester on the way home, so i could have a steak, mushrooms, and salad- the first meat i've had for 2 months! Bit of a shame i had to order it well done (aka somewhat cremated and dry), but still, hit the spot!
Hope you all having a nice weekend. Cheese toasties and all!!
Happy Kira!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Yay, great news Kira!! Am so pleased for you
Welcome Lisa! Congratulations!I told my parents a couple of weeks ago (I'm now 7+4) but only as we were going to a wedding last week and there some things I would have been uncomfortable trying to explain away, like me not eating the pate starter and not drinking etc, so I felt it was easier to tell them sooner rather than later. I've told a handful of close friends as well, I feel bad having to hide it from everyone, but only 4 or 5 weeks to go I guess!

Yay Kira!! So happy for you. Glad the scan went well and that you've got your appetite back. Well done!
Hi PSKE - Congratulations! I'm only telling everyone once we've had our scan. Still waiting to hear from midwife. I have told very close friends and family, but that's it for now.DFD February 2012
