Thanks for the welcomes, I have added myself below. I should have mentioned that I had a scan a few weeks ago as I had bleeding and thought was having another mc, luckily it wasn't.

It's worth those of you who are having to wait ages for scans trying to ring the scan dept regularly to check for cancellations (as long as you will be 12+2 at time of scan, my hospital said though may vary?)- I did this today and luckily got a slot a week earlier than planned, so I'll be just over 12 weeks instead of 13 weeks. Is everyone planning to tell everyone as soon as they have had an ok scan? Part of me is thinking about waiting until I get the Downs screening results back, but then I think even if I do show up as high risk and have further tests I'd have to wait weeks for that, so may as well get it out in the open and just face things as and when they happen? What do the rest of you think?

I don't think we're going to have the Downs screening test, I don't know. Even if they say high risk, i've heard that the follow up after that can cause mc? So if you don't have that, then you've just got to sit and worry the rest of the pregnancy. Really torn on this one.
I think we're telling everyone as soon as we've had our first scan and can see all is well.

Excellent news am pleased the appt went well, it's absolutely fab news and I share mozzy's sentiments we all knew you were a little anxious about it. I think its amazing how things like this happen you hear of it all the time don't you people waiting for these much longed for appts and then bang they have done it themselves.

Our private scan is costing £79 but we decided we couldn't wait either :o I know not everyone has the option but we booked ours through these guys http://www.babybond.com/ we also plan to have the 4D scan with them later on provided we are happy with the service this time

Can't wait to see our little bean on screen

We haven't told many people our news yet either I had to tell work cause I work in an environment where I *could* be attacked and I am not allowed to practice my MVA techniques if they called upon me so it was vital everyone knew ASAP but all of my colleagues have been looking after me and one of my colleagues is also expecting so were both handled with care :rotfl: bless them

Everyone we have told is thrilled for us though.

On the subject of spooky things I went to see a clairvoyant last week she said loads of stuff to me -I'm very sceptical and took my rings off and obv don't look preggers but she told me all about my relationship with OH how much we mean to each other how great a daddy he is (to my sons from previous marriage) and if I wasn't pregnant already I would be soon and we would be team pink !!!

Will have to wait a while to see if she is right but so far I have terrible morning sickness (bad name given it doesn't affect me in the morning !!!!) which I didn't have when I had the boys but did have when I had my DD who I sadly lost at 31wks so I'm a little apprehensive about it all ho hum

She said my aura has a hole for a girl in it lol it made me laugh when actually she was being serious but I take it all with a pinch of salt lol I don't really mind what we have as long as they are ok .

Has anyone else's boobs gone massive ?? Mine were a 34E pre pregnancy which is big to start with I am only 6 wks pregnant and went to get measured today 34 flippin G can u believe that am not loving it either my back is gonna snap lol

Anyone else having similar probs ??

Yes Amanda same here I feel like I've got a couple of inflatable beach balls that are growing by the day! Hope yours don't grow much more esp as you're only 6 weeks!x
