    Hi Everyone

Think I've wondered over to the right thread, as I recognise some of the names from the trying for a baby thread.
I got my BFP today. Did a tesco cheapy test, and a clearblue digital test. Will make my doc's appointment tomorrow. Otherwise, haven't a clue what i'm doing or meant to be doing!! I'm going to have to start checking some books out or something on everything. But we've decided to just get through our first 3 months, then i'll start answering some of the many frantic questions i've got running through my head

Other than that, we're 2 very happy people at the moment :)

Hey Mozzy! Welcome and congratulations! Its great to see you over here!
I can really recommend "what to expect when you're expecting" if you are looking for a good book to get, and worth getting to help with the first few months as well -the next few months will be interesting, but its exciting times!

I've just got back from my scan - it was amazing! OH and I were blown away by how much you could see (the spine is incredible) and how much it looked like a baby (rather than just a blob as OH had expected). I had the NT blood test done and will discuss results at my docs appointment next week, though you could see the nasal bone and the scan-lady didn't say anything one way or the other about the nuchal fold (which I'm taking as a good sign).

She put me at 12+2 so due date is still 11 Dec 11 :)

Am planning on telling the parentals tonight which is very exciting. They are going to be really shocked but over the moon! Will let you know how that goes.

Do I have to move to the 12-24 week thread now?

God, I really can't concentrate on work.

    Hey mozzyc :)

I got the 'what to expect when you're expecting' (4th edition is the latest one) on eBay, a load cheaper than Amazon and perfect condition, so I'd look on there too if I were you :D

Thanks guys. Been googling so many things this morning. My latest one is Bio-oil v Palmers Cocoa Butter v Derma Mum for stretch marks haha. Hada banana for breakfast and might just have a decaf coffee now. But am thinking, should I be eating more? I'll have some weetbix later, but I never have a big breakfast.
    Thanks 4nnabella!!

https://www.babycentre.co.uk is a good website, mozzyc, with loads of info, stuff on healthy eating, exercising in pregnancy, all that sort of stuff! There's a forum there as well, I'm in the January 2012 birth club :)

You don't need to start eating for two, baby doesn't actually need any extra calories until the last three months, and even then it's only an extra 200 cals a day! It's more about eating the right things and getting the right nutrients, vitamins etc!
