I got that email too, but I'm not making any large purchases until after 20 week scan.

I went to Asda this morning as we were desperate for some groceries and I just happened to wander into the baby clothing aisle. I really couldn't help myself but buy something. So I bought the smallest thing possible, 4 pairs of scratch mitts and a pair of booties :rotfl:

I felt really naughty when I go them home, but had to show DH when he came home for his lunch :D I warned him not to tell MIL as she is really superstitious and thinks we shouldn't have told anyone, even her until we reached 12 weeks.

MIL is coming to our 12 week scan on Thursday, she is really excited as they didn't have scans when she was pg, and she has 3 sons so has never been invited to one before. I think I'll be 11+4 then going by LMP.

Our scan was amazing! Baby was kicking and wriggling around. It was beautiful. It is such a relief. I'm a bit further on than I thought so due date is now 10 Dec. Telling the world today!

Good luck with yours Wonder Womble.

    Evening ladies,

Still not a lot to report here!!! I've been great for the past week not feeling sick at all, just tired later on after work or dead on my feet on a day off (strange that!!!) but feeling 'great' comes with its pit falls there's been many a time when I've sat thinking is everything still ok??? 1 thing for certain though this baby is gonna be a vegeterian!!! LOL!!! I have totally gone off meat in the evening and only manage minimal amounts at lunch!!!! Its got to the point where I've been having soup for dinner because I just can't stomach anything heavier and the thought of it makes my stomach churn!!!

Still have a week a 3 days until my ante-natal apointment and it can't come soon enough!!! On the upside I have managed to gut the flat today and make it fresh and tidy, I'm praying for a nice dry sunny day tomorrow so I can hang loads of washing out and then I'll be very very happy but I am in Scotland after all and we've had all seasons this week!!! Haha!!!

Jenjade what makes you think your having twins again, are there certain symptoms you've had both times??? I would love twins!!! :D

i dont have twins hun. my partners brothers are twins and i just feel huge and so ill. no idea if i am carrying twins or not just a feeling. i have a 9 year old daughter and the prgnancy is nothing like it was with her but i guess that doesnt mean anything. just something thats on my mind

First proper day of teaching placement and I'm not as knackered as I expected. Kids (Year 6) were testing the boundaries a bit but hopefully I put them in their place enough for better things during the rest of the time.

Had a text from midwife today asking me to attend an 'urgent' appointment on Weds morning. Thinking they've realised they've booked me in for a scan (next Tues) before having the initial appt so have had to squeeze it in. Went to the docs nearly a month ago though so they don't seem the most organised! Not great during my first week at school, but the teacher knows all about everything and is fine with me coming in a bit later.

Fingers crossed for a manageable rest of the week, have got half term next week so a bit of a rest before 5 weeks of practically full time teaching, eeek!

wow yummymummy how exciting ! teaching year 6 would scare the live out of me though i prefer under 5's!

i got a phone call from the doctors something has come up on my urine test and they want me to do another. i am wonder if it is because i was really not eating that day (or week) so it may have showed some lacking of stuff. bit worried though.
