Luckily i dont work Monday's anyway but stupid me is trying to do all the house work etc - All the bedding has been washed, ironing done, swept everywhere (not mopping sod it!) took some sausage meat out to make sausage rolls later n(bubble and squeak for dinner!) and now forcing myself to sit on the sofa with warm wheetabix watching Jeremy Kyle (trying not to look at the lawn cause it needs a mow!)
Mum is having DD later so i will get my head down then - i'm ok getting comfy to sleep, i just wake 2/3 times to go to the loo!
MS - have you tried dry toast?
Im currently beating mine by eating small amounts of food every 2 hours but i must admit, I'm off to buy some ginger biscuits later lol0 -
dont worry pebblespop im sure all will be fine, my dating scan is at 13+1 but not til next monday, so like you i feel like i have been waiting forever!0

I'm glad this thread is here, at least I'm not the only one feeling useless with the sickness!
I'm finding now that my biggest problem is not the nausea itself, I'm just feeling really weak and faint from not eating, which doesn't help.
I did have a bad experience the other day, when I almost threw up in the 99p store (classy aren't I?!:o) but apart from that it's just low level nausea rather than full on sick.
I've had a hot sausage roll this morning and I feel loads better lolMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Not looking forward to next week, husband going to Hong Kong for 2 & 1/2 weeks for work, plus my parents on holiday at the same time in Scotland
Not looking forward to being on my own.:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

I'm feeling useless with the MS too.... I feel sooo hideous when I wake up and OH is getting a bit fed up with bringing me breakkie in bed!! The patheticness if making me feel worse and instead of turning into the eco-mama I always thought I'd be, I'm more like Waynetta Slob...0

oooh cloudberry dont worry, you have us, my OH goes away for 5 weeks at time, its nice to have peace and quiet to nap!
Have come back from the doctors and she has signed me off for 2 weeks, just to rest and recover which is nice, but not sure what Im going to do with all the time, sleep I guess!0 -
Hi, hope it's ok for me to join, i'm 10 weeks today
I've been feeling really really horrible with MS, couldn't function or do anything. Started off feeling a bit sicky when I woke up and just got worse and worse all day to the point where I started throwing up at about 7/8pm in the evening. Tried everything I could think of and literally at the end of my tether last week I went for some acupuncture and to say it worked like magic is an understatement, had two sessions so far and I feel more or less normal! Anyone else any experience of acupuncture?0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sorry to laugh, but this made me chuckle, it's just how I feel, like a big lazy slobI thought I'd be blooming and going round with a grin on my face and a bounce in my step, instead I'm lying on the sofa, having only just managed a shower, looking at everything that needs doing and contemplating whether I am brave enough to have a nap (because I feel worse afterwards, like I've drank 2 bottles of wine all by myself!)

Hi ladies. Hoping someone with a bit more experience of the baby thing can advise! My doctor has advised that being 36 (tomorrow!) i should have a NT scan as i'm considered higher risk with my age. But also said i wont get my first scan (dating) till 13 weeks and my booking in at 12 weeks.
I thought i had read that NT needs to be done between 11-13+5 weeks. It just seems to be cutting it a bit fine to get it done? Or will they do dating and NT at the same time?
I dont want to miss the chance, so not sure if i should be pushing for something earlier?
Thoughts?
Thanks!
