Thanks for the reassurance about no morning sickness. I've been getting very small amounts of light brown mucus and then yesterday when straining a bit on the loo (sorry far too much information!) I had a bit of red blood. I've not had anything since and mentioned it to my midwife at my booking appt yesterday afternoon. I'm in for another scan on Tuesday to check all is well, I'm so worried now, but the good news is I've not had any cramps (no more than the achy and stretchy feelings I've had for weeks anyway). So fingers crossed. What will be will be I guess, at least it's not ectopic so it won't kill me.
I'm so so sorry to read your news Jules, 3 in a row, the pain must be unbearable. Can you get referred for testing now? With some women it's just a case of "sticky blood" and can be easily treated with injections or baby aspirin I think. I really hope it's nothing more than that for you. Doesn't take away from the pain you must be feeling now though, much love to you.
Sequeena, that's great news, I'm really pleased everything is ok.
Happy Saturday everyone, hope the ms isn't too bad for those who are still getting it.0 -

So sorry for your loss jules. thinking of you hun. i've been there so i do understand.
msfc, waiting is horrible i hope you get your results quickly.
Sequeena , so glad all is ok. not long new till your next scan. will you find out sex ?
Well had my scan yesterday. omg i was a nervous wreck, lol. never been like this with the 4 previous preg, i was so convinced somethign was wrong. But i was wrong. there is a perfect little baby in there. all is well. I am over the moon.My dates are spot on and they confirmed due date of 21st aug. Also some excellent news they took on board how much i want a v-bac and surprising were very supportive. shocked at first, but great. i've got to see my consultant to discuss it further , but i feel really happy.
our dd is over the moon. very protective of me. our eldest ds said, oh i wanted sweet's,lol :rotfl:. ( we told the kids we had a surprise for them). our youngest too young to understand but was with us at the scan and loved it.
told all family and they all really happy. My bro was funny ( he 14) died of embarrasment i think, lol)
anyway i'm starting to feel relaxed. and it still doesn't seem real keep looking at photo, think omg it real.lol. maybe once i get a bump and feel it move i will believe it more.0 -

Am so sorry jules big hugs for you xxx Glad things ok with you sequeena xx and fingers crossed for msfc hope everythings ok.
Thanks for your replies, I only had that one bit of discharged which I had convinced myself was blood, but I havent had nothing else and no pain etc, MS has calmed down a bit which is OK. I think the lack of sleep and being sick all the time has made me think very negatively about the smallest thing. I had a good cry to OH last night and apologised for being so snappy, so things OK, will mention to midwife on thurdsday what happens just for piece of mind.

I know skint_catt, I'm not even getting much sickness but didn't tell her my idea of balanced is having a banana with my wedge of chocolate cake
I think she was saying that expensive vitamins aren't always necessary. The ones she gave me are C, D and folic acid, think I got them wrong in my earlier post. I always take multivits anyway as I know my diet isn't up to scratch and I often don't eat much meat so worry about iron levels.
Huge huge huge hugs jules
Jcr I'm glad your scan went well and your family are all happy with the news. I'm going to phone my nan today to tell her. She loves babies and will be over the moon.
So pleased and relieved for you sequeena
Hope you had a nice break Ddebski. I wouldn't worry too much about what you ate. For some reason, I think in pregnancy the baby takes what it needs and you'd be the one to suffer from lack of nutrients. It may be an old wives tale though.
I can't remember who else posted (limited number of free braincells these days) so hope I haven't missed any important news.0 -
Sequenna - i'm so happy that everything is ok for you - was on and off here the last couple of days hoping you would report in
you picture is excellent. i'm sure you are so relieved xx

I am so sorry to hear of your loss - I have never experienced what you are going through but can only imagine the heartache it would cause - I hope you are able to have the investigations that others have been talking about and have better luck in the future xxComp Wins 2011 : Cant wait to start listing everything:j:j:j0 -
Hi! I was a lurker on Trying for a baby, and last weekend got my BFP! I'm about 5 weeks, this is number 2 & I'm joining for chat & advice I hope!
I know I've done it all before, but it doesn't stop me being scared! I should have more confidence surely?
I rang my Dr's, but they won't see me until I'm 8weeks, is this normal? I'm sure I went straight away last time!
I just need some reassurance from them, I have only told my partner & my son (I know I should have waited, he's only 5, but we're very close & I had to explain why mummy is being a stroppy monster!)
I moved to the other side of the country not long ago, so have no friends or family:j - DS - 7

Hi MSM
Congratulations!! I'm 5+4 - I think!
My GP's surgery is the same, they generally don't see you until 8-10 weeks. (I'm being seen at 7 weeks but only because I've got a history of early miscarriage) These early weeks really seem to drag, don't they?
We've also told our son (who is 9) even though it's early it doesn't seem right to keep such enormous news from him.
Must be tough for you being so far away from family/friends - I know it's not quite the same but we're quite a friendly lot on here, and someone is usually always around if you need to chat xxxx0
