Thanks for you reply, I was so sick last pregnancy I did get admitted with dehydration but at least I worked in an office then so could have easy duties etc to help me cope, but this time I have a very maunal job I'm a hospital domestic which is quite full on lots of bending, its very warm and lots of horrid smells, all which make me feel even worse :( i'm gonna have a few more days off then speak to midwife when I go on thursday x

Bella - Just popping over from Pregnancy Thread. I too had really bad morning sickness which seen me being signed off work for 7 weeks. I was prescribed tablets to ease it and it did help - so your GP should be able to prescribe something for you. HTH. SHarkeybabe

  • i suppose every health care area is different, but like i said in a previous post at an early stage the doctor generally does not see you they would refer you to the early pregnancy assesment unit (epau) to be seen and checked over and given medication. even if iwanted more anti sickness tablets i would still hve to go back to them raather than my doctor. but it could be different in dfferent areas.

  • May well be different in other areas, however, my doctor only reffered me to the EPAU after the first dosage of anti sickness tablets didnt work and it was then I was sent up to the hospital. You can see your GP for any problem regardless of whether you are pregnant or not, they will also be able to help you.

I get exactly the same! "Well it's not an illness is it!"

Thanks everyone for all the welcome messages. I'd googled loads of pregnancy forums but didn't feel confident chatting in them, then I remembered there were probably family forums on here (I tend to post on DFW) so came for a mooch. My OH doesn't get why I'm on here so much generally but when I was reading this thread to him yesterday he said "Aren't MSE people nice." :D

So far I've had no MS but some feelings of nausea when a passenger in the car but I am definitely shattered. I slept for 2 hours yesterday afternoon and have just woken up from a 2 hour 'nap' today. Is anyone else constantly tired already? xx
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...

Bella I couldn't face the prune juice but have been much less, erm, congested, since eating a handful of raisins every day!

Hi girly whirlies! Great news on good scans, you must both be relieved. Got mine tomorrow and I'm really nervous. Will report back.

As far as being bunged up goes I have suffered on and off. I love fresh figs so every so often I'll have some of those and I'm making an effort to eat an appropriate cereal in the mornings although I am enjoying honey on toast more! I hope you feel better.

I'm 13 weeks but still don't really feel preg but constant naps and larger b oo b s make me think I must be plus my skin has become really bad! I've got tons of spots and my skin is very dry. Boo hoo.

Hi, congrats and welcome to all newbies! Hoping you all have a safe, happy and healthy pregnancy.

My lovely DH is looking after me very well and I have to admit that I am making the most of it (and milking it!).

    Enjoy your Sunday evenings x
