Apologies to be clogging up the scan dates post - I can't help it though!

Feeling like utter CARP this morning. I'm finding it difficult to get off the sofa for fear of being sick. Erugh. I don't think my constituion is good enough to carry children - I have written myself a note in my pregnancy diary to think very very very carefully before having any more.

Glad everyones scans are going well. I think I will have had 4 scans by the 12 week one so I will upload all of the pics together.

Glitter - I hope everything is okay for you. I know nothing will help ease your worry but i will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Now that will serve you right for complaining about having no symptoms... :p:p:p

Hope you feel at least well enough to eat soon

I know. I thought the very same myself...such an idiot :rotfl::rotfl:

Food? Yuk. Even the thought of it makes me dizzy.

I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. Coming home early was lovely and I've had 3 days off doing nothing. I just really really REALLY don't want to go back :(

The OH is on DIY duty this weekend much to his annoyance. He's got to lay a carpet, buy a new sofa and chair and lay the kitchen floor. Haha...I might give my Dad a call to lend a helping hand.

Just posted a nice cheery message on the 12-24 week thread...about stillbirths :/

There was one woman asking about baby paranoia etc and she mentioned Amanda Holden's loss at 6 months. I felt obliged to comment.

My puppy had 'the snip' on Friday. Well, it wasn't so much snipping for her..more 'pulling it all out'. Poor little doggy! Although since having her belly shaved I have noticed she has a nipple missing!

Hi Glitter - I've never posted on this thread, but felt compelled to now.
You're events this morning sounds very similar to me at 7 weeks, massive bright red bleed (even a passed clot) to the point where in the second urine test they asked for - they couldn't do it for the amount of blood. However, when I first went in - my first sample could be tested and it was positive with appropriate hormone levels. A internal exam later (where I was told my body was terminating my baby) and i was asked back to the hospital two days later - where they did find a heartbeat. I'm now 24weeks. It was never explained what it was that came away from me - just one of those things.....
Your urine is testing positive is a good thing.

The only advice I can give is rest up until your scan. Best of luck xxx

    !

With all due respect RedwoodBrook I'm not sure if your "nice cheery message" was altogether called for especially on pregnancy threads. We know you have been through a terrible loss and none of us can understand what you have or are going through, but we are aware from the moment we get our BFP's that things can go wrong right up to delivery (and further beyond the worry never leaves you!) I'm not sure it is something we need reminded of.

I've never had any MS! My mum has though and heartburn - like she did for my sisters. I've never really had any symptoms - thirsty, tired and sensitive/bigger nipples (sorry tmi) but that's all.

There were a couple of clots earlier. I've had no pain and it seems like the bleeding was just this morning - it felt like a lot.

I was the same, almost like it just came from nowhere. No pain at any time and my boobs continued to hurt. I wasn't sick until 9 or 10 weeks anyway (apart from once in the hospital - but i expect that was shock!!). The bleeding stopped as soon as passed the large clot and the gyno doctor swabbed me to get rid of any excess in there (?). Anything after that (for probably 2 weeks or so) was brown (tmi) but I expected that given that i had bleed so much.

Hope you've got your feet up!!
