Morning Ladies!
I'm feeling so nauseous todayI'm 11+4 and it subsided a few days ago but is back worse than before. Eating doesn't seem to keep it at bay. Oh well, at least I'm lucky that I'm not actually being sick.
Missy - I find polo mints great to suck on and that seems to help but it's too easy to crunch them and then you feel sick as soon as soon as it's gone! :rotfl:
I found the baby's heartbeat yesterday and again this morning :j
It's such a nice feeling to find it as I didn't think the Angelsounds would pick it up so early. Spud kept moving every time I found it and the movement noises are really funny.
We're going to tell OH's granny and my brothers today. Everyone else we will tell after the scan on Thursday.
Hope everyone has a good day xx0 -
WPB - I'm telling everyone after the scan on Thursday (parents already know and immediate family are finding out today). We chose not to have any screening tests done so don't have any results to wait for. Good luck with your scan tomorrow - how long ago was your last scan? I bet it's grown a bit. I can't wait to see ours moving on the screen as I have no idea what it will look like!!0

Thanks, our immediate family know too, just haven't told any friends. Last scan was on 24th so will be about a week and a half so hopefully grown a bit, still can't wait to see even though I have been lucky enough to have a scan so recently. You'll love it, it truly is incredible
So exciting that you found that baby's heartbeat, must be a big relief! I know it was for me when I heard it at the scan. Makes it seem to much more real too!0 -
OH's family know.. only cos he blabbed to his infereing sister.. me? pee'd off??? you think?
The lady who does my nails knows.
and you lot know...
Everyone else will be informed via a scan pic on facebook stating

Yay for finding the heartbeat! On the candy/nausea idea....I've been trying some ginger chew things that I got from Holland and Barrett. I was looking for something less sweet, but they only had these and crystallized ginger (urp). They worked pretty well for me on Wed/Thurs when I was hurling. I tried some Roberts mints earlier in the week, but they made me feel worse. I've been on a spicy, not sweet jag though so that might make a difference.
I'm so excited to read the thread this week. Nine! of us going for scans...whoa!I don't know that we'll have a picture as we're only going to be about 8+3 or so, but will be great to see a heartbeat!

pigpen your denial and the vision of your OH having to drag you to your scan kicking and screaming is making me laugh.
Have felt a bit icky today but nothing compared to yesterday but im not sure if that is because I have stuffed my face all day!!!
Sorry does anyone mind if I just pour my heart out for a minute, I too am feeling really emotional today....
Have been very very naughty and have been looking at houses! I spent the day in the village where my dad and stepmum live, and it also happens to be the village OH's mum lives, and they are all about 10/15 minutes away from the rest of my family, Im the furthest away at 35-45 minutes. OH loves living here as we are so close to the city, we can just hop on a bus, but we only do that a couple of times when hes home and when hes away I never go to the city, but must go back to my dads village about 8 times, as I love it and feel at home there, which is costing me a fortune in petrol. So I have been having a little look at the area. I have found two houses in the close vicinity. one is a great big house with lots of land and is about 5 mins from my dads village, but is the wrong side and by a main road, so really don't think OH would even contemplate it, and the other one is a tiny terrace house in the village my dad lives in, which I would love to live in when OH goes away.... but obviously I can't afford to buy it by myself.... am really in a bit of a difficult position as am going to have a real fight on my hands to try to get OH to understand my predicament, He absolutely loves living here and we have a beautiful house its just so far away from my family and I think I will probably need them more and more when theres more than me to look after. There are two other houses for sale they are in need of complete modernisation or rebuilding.... but are £70k more than the terrace.... obviouslyy OH earns the money so its his decision at the end of the day.... just don't know what to do...I'm not unhappy here but feel I spend all of my time driving too and from and will do even more so when bub i here.... oh its all so confusing....sob.
Sorry to offload just don't really know who to chat to when Im in such an emotional state.... sorry again.0
