So if I said 'near the Adelphi' you'd know where I live??

there is a woman started another thread lives a few streets away and one of my flyminions also lives very close... not that it is difficult in this inbred town

Yeah I know where you mean. I live near the Tiger, if that means anything?

lol I'm not actually from here but it does get me excited lol *Saddo here*
  • Awww I'm sure you'll be ok Pigpen, like you say it could be a couple of things.

My mum and dad live 5 minutes walk (10 mins for me) from our house which is nice as we're really close. My dh's mum and dad live 90 miles away as does the majority of our extended family. But I think Dh misses them sometimes but he also likes his independence. If we had a car I think he'd feel better as they'd only be 1 1/2 - 2 hrs away.

OHs family are in Stockport so miles away.. he does wish they were closer but they do lead him a dogs life.. they over fuss the baby and she gets upset but if they were closer that wouldn't happen because they'd see her more.. but they would be a nightmare and we wouldn't be able to fart without everyone having a say in it first and tellinh OH he wasn't doing it right!

Oooh Toria does that mean you are going to the crappest hospital in the world too???? I hate that place..

Morning Ladies hope your all well.
PP hope the stomach is better, constipation can be really painful, could be that?

Those suffering MS, you have my sympathy, mine was terrible last time, am hoping it wont be this time. Vitamin B6 helps a lot of women.

Midwife tomorrow, and consultant next week.

Not too many symptoms yet, just emotional and worried.
    Pawpurrs x ;)

OMG, I am so nervous about my scan. It's in 50 mins and I have got myself into a right state thinking the worst. I know that's natural but I can't help it!

    Hi all,

My wife and I conceived and she is 6+4 i think at the moment. Bit difficult to calculate as her periods were 36 days long.

We got 3+ on the clearblue digital indiciator last thursday 31st March. We are over the moon and fingers crossed everything will be fine.

Does anyone have any tips or info for us from past experience maybe?

Like we have an appointment with doctor this wednesday to see what we have to do in terms of appointments etc but not sure when her first scan will be. I've heard 8 weeks and 12 weeks so a bit confused.

Currently she is getting really bad morning sickness, been sick twice this morning and struggling at her work, bless her. I guess thats a good sign :), lots of hormones floating around to make her ill lol.

I am hoping so, I am very windy so it is looking likely it is bowel hysteria.

I'm sure all will be fine.. deep breaths and think of the shopping

*hyperventilates at the thought of own scan in 24 hours exactly!!*

Oooh that'll deal with my constipation.. sheer terror has a fabulous affect on the problem!

It doesn't make any difference how long the cycles were the due date will be calculated 9 months and 7 days from the first day of the last period.. :D they may change it by a day or so at the dating scan at around 12 weeks anyway.

Scans vary... They are usually 11-13 weeks so they can do the nuchal measurement at the same time and 12 weeks foetus is roughly the same size for everyone regardless of how big they are or how big the baby will be at birth.

booking with the midwife varies widely between areas.. 8-12 weeks is usual..

If she is really suffering with the sickness and struggling to keep anything down she should ask for medication to help control it.. We don't want her ending up dehydrated and very very unwell.

    and finally.. congratulations!
