    Tentatively saying hello.

Currently 6 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. First 2 were stillborn so a nerve racking experience all round but hopefully with a good outcome.

All going well I will have had 4 children within 2 years :o Lets hope my body copes ;) My youngest, Naomi is currently 5 months and hopefully about to be a big sister.

Hello Pigpen, was with you here during my first pregnancy. Hope things are going ok for you this time too. What number are you on now?

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

You will have about the same gap as I have between my little 2.. If you survive the first year it gets easier! Fortunately there will be about 2 years between these 2. I think the worst bit is trying to feed one while the other is running about and trashing everything in sight and there is nothing you can do about it.

Pregnancy number 18 lol but all going well this will be number 11 .. and it better be a boy! I absolutely cannot afford 8 prom dresses, plus OH really wants a boy and was even less impressed with Dot because she is a girl. His family pretty much ignore her too :(

Nausea appears to have left thank goodness.. supposedly 7 weeks tomorrow ..

MV... nearly tomorrow!!! I hope you are at least a little excited in there with the fear and nervousness your have ((hugs))

The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.
  • PP I suppose there is a deeply-buried excitement in there somewhere, but fear is the main emotion!

Just wish it wasn't so late in the day. I've got to work till lunchtime, i can't see much getting done!

I think I would like my own baby more. I don't find other people's babies that attractive.

I don't think the worry will ever quite go away until baby is born healthy for me.

You should be so lucky! For the first year at least I would get worried if I had not heard baby for a while when he was in his cot, and run in to his room to check he was still breathing. I've only just about stopped doing that now that he's coming up to 2.

Now it's things like - putting the laptop lead in his mouth, climbing up on things and falling over, managing to grab hold of sharp things etc.

    never stops just changes

    Evening everyone!

MV -Best of luck for your scan tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you!

    Congrats and welcome kittenpie!

AFM - Called about my mystery appointment today. The woman was lovely. It'll be my 12 week scan and booking appointment in 1. They said come with a full bladder and I'll be there for well over an hour. Get there with a full bladder - really?! I'll be desperate if I have to wait even 5 mins past the appointment!! :rotfl:
DH has been round the house and scrubbed it from top to bottom today! Clearly my moodiness this weekend worked! He's so proud, bless him - keeps showing me things he's cleaned and tidied up!

Just popped by MV to wish you oodles of luck for your scan tomorrow :T - remember a choc bar beforehand - gets baby hyper! (mine just slept through the whole of my 13 week scan!!!) - I reckon Wispa Gold is the best - sugary from the caramel and then the dose of choc as well!!!!:)
  • thanks for all the well wishes gang..I really do appreciate it :)

Got the inlaws here tonight and tomorrow as they are going to be picking DS up from nursery for us tomorrow as our appointment isn't until 4pm.

Whilst I am really grateful that they are here to help, I kind of wsh they weren't too. Our flat isn't really big enough, and it kind of throws all our routines out of kilter..plus they have a habit of whipping DS up into a frenzy just before bedtime..sigh.

Also, if it isn't good news tomorrow, I'd rather not have to be sociable tomorrow night.

I probably sound really ungrateful. Just kind of want my own space right now.
