lilmissclass I think everyone has that fear. I think this whole thread is about the dreaded 8 week wait! It would be harder for those where something has gone wrong before.

I have my children who are older but OH and I have 2 girls and this one is due slap bang in the middle of them both.. there are 6 weeks between those 2 birthdays.. I have AWFUL tummy ache today.. nothing sinister just wind I think, but it hurts lots. I have felt a little less icky-chucky the last couple fo days but I am forcing tea and toast down myself first thing which is helping I think.. Still in MC territory.. roll on next weekend!!

Told OH last night, he's well made up. Think it was a surprise to him but he couldn't stop smiling.
My boobs are very tender and I keep feeling sick, which I guess is normal. I'm at the Docs for a blood test tomorrow morning (typical, I'd been in to see the GP last week due to my periods being very irregular and light, so the blood test is linked to that. The GP thought I looked pale but pale is my natural colour!), so I guess I'll tell the nurse that's doing the blood test and see what I need to do. From the date of my last period I'm about 5 weeks but my cycles are a mess so I'm guessing probably a bit less.
We've agreed we won't tell anyone yet, at least for a few more weeks, but the difficulty is I'm well known amongst friends for never turning down a beer, so they're all going to guess the reason why I'm not drinking pretty quickly. I guess I'll just have to avoid social occasions for the next few weeks!

I bet if you're around 9 weeks its because the pregnancy hormone starts decreasing around then.

I am either 10 or 6 weeks on Tuesday.. I guess we will find out in about 5ish weeks when I have a scan (assuming I get to next weekend) I usually have a couple of days feeling ok around 8 weeks and then a few bad days and around 12 weeks I have another few bad days then I am ok for the duration.. until my kidneys stop working properly and/or my liver.

I bet you're further along if you've heard a heartbeat. Can you not get them to book you in sooner if you tell them that?

lol.. no.. I was 11 weeks last time before I told him.. I just can't cope with him growling at me about it when I feel so crappy so I'll wait until I feel a bit better.. I also have no idea HOW to tell him as ridiculous as that sounds.. I was on the pill so it shouldn't have happened.. but I needed first of all to get things straight in my head before moving to the next step.. I have considered texting him a pic of a clearblue lol

I'm ok with booking when it is, I can be in denial longer.

Pigpen - this has made me smile so much! Text him the pic of the clear blue!? I'm sure he will be ok, once the news settles in.

I guess i'm feeling pretty crappy, tired and fed up. I'm stressing about money, debts, cars! fitting 3 car seats in my car - even if they fit in this one. I really need another! It's done 160000 miles. Oh !!!!!!

:( Am spotting a bit. I know all the theory on it might not mean anything etc etc - but it ain't what I want to see. I'm only 4+3 so nowt at all that can be done about it either. Just sit tight n wait I guess :o
