Unless you are on metronidazole for oral infections like I was for my wisdom teeth. You can't touch a drop of alcohol as it can cause really bad side effects and makes you vomit so that was a good one for me as my friends and work knew this as I'd been on it before.0 -
Hi all - welcome newbies!
lovecake - i feel for you, my appointments were all on the late side - I had my booking in at 11 weeks and my scan at 13 weeks (according to my LMP). Def chase it up as you can, its a relief when you get the ball rolling and it all seems 'official'
AFM I bought some maternity clothes today! I think I will be wearing black a lot, lol...not much choice, even online, but new look seemed to have the biggest range. Im still looking for decent overbump skinny jeans though!
Also found out I have a wedding to go to in spring, so been drooling over tiffany rose dresses!
Im 12w6d now so will be moving over to the next thread in the next few days - first trimester has flown by!!We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

mogwai (and everybody else!) - am also looking for some good skinny jeans. I love my Gap Always Skinny jeans so I ordered some maternity ones and they are not nearly as nice - quite baggy and not flattering at all, and don't come in a short length. Is anybody else petite and quite slim, and found good jeans that don't cost the earth?
My bump is teeny tiny at the moment so I think I just want underbump ones, although I won't be picky if they are comfortable!0 -
Aw bless you sallywl! I took a test in the morning and thought I could see a very faint line - I showed my OH and asked him if he could see it. We weren't sure. So I took two more at lunch time and saw a darker line so sent him numerous picture messages of it asking him to tell me if he could see a very faint line too! Haha! Then I took another the next day and we were convinced that it was positive. So I didn't really need to 'tell' him - it was more of a joint effort! Lol! How did everyone else tell their OH's?0
