Yay mrs j!! So happy for you x0

They moved me forward 4 days at my scan, and I know when I ovulated as I'd just started monitoring my basal body temperature and have the 'spike' clearly on my charts. They also ignore dates for those who have used IVF and go by the scan size so all a bit up in the air really
I'm curious to see the duration of pregnancy for those who know conception date as they will count you as 'full term' anytime from 37-42 weeks (!) - bit of a vested interest at the moment as I'm 40+2... (their dates)
Hmm so they're really going by size and not date at all then?0 -
Congratulations mrsj.
Fantastic newsMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Wehay - big congratulations Mrsj28!:T And good luck to the others who are also having scans this week!
Mine is next Tuesday - should be 12+6 so will be interesting to find out a. if there is anything there (still seems a bit strange and I am huge through bloating - its getting very hard to disguise it) and b. if there is something there, what they date me as.
Is anyone else getting terrible road rage? I am getting worse each day on the commute to work. I have no patience and if someone cuts me up.....well...theres all hell to pay!:mad:0 -
Thanks everybody
I ovulated on CD23 so I had expected to be put back a week or so (which I was). I guess they have to go on LMP first as it's the most consistently reliable date as a lot of people don't know when they ovulated.
We are not having the nuchal scan so no need to go back, and the sonographer was (eventually!) able to take all the measurements she needed. The baby kept falling asleep all bunched up in a corner so I had to keep coughing to wake it up!0 -
Hello, room for another one in here?
I got my bfp today and am very excited! This is my second baby and I already have a one year old son, who is simply fabIn my last pregnancy I had hyperemeis and threw up for the entire 9 months, ending up 3 stone lighter. Hoping that won't happen this time, although the reason I took a test today was because I threw up so the chances of that aren't great! I'm very early days yet, think I will be 4 weeks tomorrow going from my lmp.
Looking forward to the next 9 or so monthsxxx
