My daughter has her first scan booked for the end of Nov. She wants me to go with her and her partner, do you think they will allow both her partner and me to be in the scan room with her. I think she wants me there to hold her hand when she has the blood test - she's absolutely terrified of needles lol.

I have been craving pretzels - so similar to you with the saltiness I guess. I have a pretty good diet, I get plenty fruit and veg, I have never smoked and never been much of a drinker so I've decided I'm not gonna beat myself up over the odd bag of crisps or bar of chocolate. I think as long as you're sensible it will be fine :)

I'm quite enjoying salty things too, and yoghurt, which I don't usually like much, but I'm eating it when I get up at night.

I've definitely been getting more nauseous, I was very sick last night, but not too bad today.

I phoned the hospital today and they hadn't received my referral  So I phoned the drs surgery to ask them to fax it to the hospital (as the hospital requested) and they were quite snippy about it. How annoying! Hopefully my booking in appt will not be too delayed.

Hope you are all doing ok.

I think I am about 8 weeks (or maybe a few days less) lovecake (depending on whether I go on my usual cycle or 28 days).

Hopefully you won't get any nausea! My friend who is due in 2 months time hardly felt sick at all :o

I'm another one who loves ready salted crisps preferably Golden Wonder - yum! I have my big bag at the ready because I have my first midwifes appointment in the morning.

Hi I hope you do not mind me asking for advice. My daughter is 10 weeks pregnant and has phoned me up crying that she thinks she might be having a miscarriage. She has a pink and brown bleeding and has a severe headache. Should she phone her doctor or shall I take her to the Emegency department. Or are we panicking?

Hi merrydance - I'm no expert but I think you should definitely seek medical advice. How about phoning NHS Direct (0845 4647) and seeing what they recommend
