Hi, hope it's okay to join you all, I am an MSE regular but posting under a different name as we're not telling anyone yet!0

Welcome Sparkles!
I don't want to alarm anyone - but I discovered today that the nursery at the end of our road had an 18 month waiting list and they encouraged us to come down and visit and get on the list now for a place in April 2014!
So if any of you are planning to go back to work relatively quickly you might need to tell the local nursery before you even tell friends and family :eek:0 -
:eek:OMG Pippa!! thats ridic!xx0

Congratulations Sparkles, welcome to the thread...
Am lurking at home today as I've got a rotten cold and couldn't face the commute and a hard day's work. Some of the sad news on here lately has made me realise how much I should be putting my health first.
Got a dating scan tomorrow so am excited and nervous about it. Will be interesting to see how far along I am, think its around 7 weeks but crazy cycles mean it could be more. Really just want to know everything's ok.
Crazy about the waiting lists for nursery! Best wishes to all xfran-o0 -

I'll be five weeks tomorrow, so early days yet.
That's crazy about the nursery, guess I'll have to look into that sooner than expected!0 -
Not long behind me then im 6+4 days. desperate to be able to tell everyone. x0

Welcome sparkles!
Good luck tomorrow fran-o for your scan
Nausea has kicked in here... spent all of yesterday feeling very queasy and today as well. Have a stash of cream crackers and ginger biscuits on my desk which seem to be helping, especially the dry cream crackers. DH offered to make me a cup of tea earlier and even the thought of a cup of tea made me want to be sick!!
I haven't actually been sick yet. I am weirdly reassured by feeling so queasy.
teaandcupcakes I think we are similar dates, I think I'm 6+2 going by my positive ovulation tests, but the doctor has dated me as 7+2 going from the first day of bleeding of my miscarriage. No complaints as hopefully it means I'll get a scan a little bit sooner.0 -
I think theres several of us all around the same kind of time - I am 6+6 I think.....but I am clueless so who knows! OMG about the nursery - that waiting list has horrified me!
I have had a midwife appt come through today for the 6th Nov - but its at a stupid time as I work! Why can't they have sensible appt times such as early evenings like doctors do? Seems odd that I am seeing a midwife as the word pregnant still seems to belong to someone else (despite the sicky bloatness - still just feels like I have over-dosed on chocolate:o!).
Take care ladies - no more sad news please - and hopefully see some of the others who have left back soon x0 -
Mrsj28, didn't realise you'd had another BFP, so pleased for you. And you're probably totally confused at who I am to know this!
The midwife phoned me today so booked in for a sensible time when OH and I will both be able to be there, which will be nice.
OH is a bit upset at the moment as we're booked to go on holiday soon and it'll affect what we have planned to do, he's trying hard not to be disappointed but I think he was looking forward to our last care-free fun holiday before kids0
