Good luck lemonmelon! Hope all is well tomorrow!:)

I am feeling sicker by the day :( - and I have a difficult job to just go and hide in the corner. Haven't been sick yet but feeling very close to it.

Headaches - I haven't had any yet but I do suffer from migraines - and was really worried as the only thing that works is Zomig but I can't take that. Doc did tell me that I could take Migraleve though - paracetamol and codeine. Fingers crossed that I don't need them.

Not sure if I would prefer a headache or sickness.... but at the moment I could do without feeling vomity the whole time! I am also miles off a scan.....6+4 so far....although I was considering a private scan just to check theres a hearbeat..... anyone else had one/considering one?

    Hows everyone else? :)

I feel yukky a lot but I find that I manage better when I eat little and often. Now I don't do vom at all. It's strange because I'm off chocolate, fizz and most things tasting sweet.

Good luck today Lemonmelon. I'll have everything crossed for you.

I'm also finding little and often is the way to go with food to keep the nausea manageable. DH made a beautiful roast yesterday, but boy did I feel I'll after I'd stuffed my face.

I might phone my doctor this week to see if there's something I can take for the constipation as the copious amounts of fruit, multi-grain bread, prunes and orange juice aren't helping much. :(

Hi BB, you can take Fybogel sachets :) I used them in the first trimester, asked at the pharmacy and they recommended them.

Add me to the nausea club! I have a report due for work in the next couple of weeks so am going to ask my manager if I can work from home for a few days to get it done. But also, I think it might be easier to manage the nausea from home.

2b - thanks for the note about headaches! Good to know it's not just me. Had another terrible one early this morning so took some paracetamol and put a cold flannel on my face which seemed to help!

I went to see the GP this morning and have booked my first midwife appointment for 7 November. GP was lovely, same doctor I saw when I had my miscarriage, and she was so pleased for me. She went through IVF and had a threatened miscarriage during her pregnancy so was very understanding about me being anxious this time round.

I'm still not feeling sick but am generally feeling under the weather at the moment.

Hope everybody has a good day - a bit of a gloomy Monday here!
