Hi all
I lurk most days on my iPhone but never get around to posting unless I get on the laptop.
Can I start by welcoming newbies and sending big,big hugs to those who need them.
I had my 12 week scan today. This is actually my fourth scan to date as I'm overseas (and attending a private hospital as I'm not covered yet on partners state insurance), and they LOVE their scans over here!
I had measurements taken for Downs. The following was noted 57mm CRL and 10mm NT. From my Google search, these seem like OK measurements and my due date has been moved from 11 April to 9 April.
Baby was moving about like a loony. Better half's face was a picture. These scans make it seem more real for him.
Also given two black and white 4d scans, but I can't make head nor tail of them!
Monthly scans from now on, unless any problems occur.
I don't want to move to the 12 week thread as thats making things more real .
Love to you all of you and hope to see you on the 12 week thread soon. xx0 -
You can have caffine Free Diet Coke????? LBIf you can think it........it will happen0
-
To be honest I don't drink normal coke, just the cherry one and the odd glass of diet so won't be forking out on the caffeine free as there's no way OH would drink it.
I just don't know how much damage it would actually do.I don't drink tea or coffee at all so no caffeine there.

I'm shattered today - had to go into London for a course and felt so ill on the train and tube to get there and once I did I almost burst into tears when it was explained what we'd actually be doing as it isn't within the remit of my working role... have some strong feedback to provide on the final day of the course next week.
I've my booking in appt on Monday and although I'm still anxious and too scared of something going wrong to tell our families that we're pregnant again, after our scan last week I'm much more positive and hopeful that this will be our take home baby. I think seeing the mw again will help some of my anxiety. This waiting malarchy is not great is it?!
Hope that everyone else is feeling ok and hugs to anyone who needs them xx0 -

just over 2 weeks now for my scan, its taking sooooo long to get here. for some reason i know im pregnant i just dont feel its real this time, which i can t work out why ? so looking forward for the scan to confirm things in my head. hope that doesnt sound to werid!0 -
It all seems to have gone quiet here since I arrived
do I smell??
Hope all are well and just busy relaxing.
Got some funny aches going on in my belly area, still not quite believing I'm pregnant, so much so I'm tempted to do the other test tomorrow morning.
I dont have any symptoms I dont think, unless feeling constantly hungover when I havent had a drink since last saturday is a symptom?
Feel so completely in the dark about all this

Hi there girlies ... I'm back!
Had my booking in appt with midwife and all went well.
Been off for a lovely family break (Mum, Dad & sister's family), so have had a great week of being able to grumble when I'm tired, look green round the gills and being quite comfortable to comment on whether or not I'm "allowed" to eat things! Missed out on the hot tub though.
To catch up quickly, I've had the odd bit of coke (the drink, not the heavy stuff!!) but I don't drink coffee or tea, so I figured one glass wouldn't take me over the 200mg allowed of caffeine.... a little bit of cherry coke shouldn't harm the baby. (approx 34mg per can, I've just looked it up).
Congrats to all the newbies and to all those sicky, hoping it soon passes.x
L.xxx
p.s. Lizzie_b, I don't think you smell0 -
