Docs appointment went fine this morning. He just filled in a form and said the midwife would be in touch.

Asked about twins in the family etc and hve me a sample pot to test for protein x

yours is more on the ball than mine is then! mine didnt ask any of that - just when was my last LMP and how much I weighed, filled in his little form and told me the midwife will be in touch!

there are twins that run in my family - my grandad on my moms side had a twin sister and my nans sister had twin boys (non-identical)

Morning Lady Bugs

So still here and countig down to my private scan next Tuesday. At least I am feeling better now my voice is still a bit dodgey but I feel better.

I went dentist yesterday & she was so happy for me as she knew that we had been trying for a long time.

I am so terrified about my scan feels really strange like I can't allow myself to think of this as a pregnancy and that it is easier to think that things will go wrong then to hope & dream that all will be OK.

My freaky dreams have finiahed now (I Hope) and I am sleeping better.

I just want to know all is ok. I wish that all HA did ealry scans for MC people the 12 week wait is the worse ever.

I found the bit after the 12 week scan worse, as my preg symptoms vanished (good thing) but there was nothing else to say I was pregnant aside from the bump!! Until you feel baby move which was just before 20 week scan for me for certain (possible flutters before then).

I think every area is different from what I can gather. I didn't get weighed but had my blood pressure took and then was given a sample pot to check protein next I go. From the sounds of it my dr will be as involved as the mw.

I was wondering about the twin thing and fom what I can gather if twins run in the family they might give you an early scan to determine if your carrying twins.

I started my Masters on Monday and lectures have started already - so will not have much (if any !) spare time to even get on here - let alone do the list!!

Chonorla - could you re-add me please?! the bleeding I had last week stopped pretty much as soon as I posted on here and all POAS tests still show positive so fingers crossed Im still in the game! Im also getting more pregnancy symptoms which is a good sign!

I need my wrists slapped too as I googled the bleeding bit and it seems it may have been an implantation bleed (though it was more like brown and white snot with a tinge of pink than actual blood - sorry if thats a bit TMI!!!)

oh it would be great if they did - after my scare the other week I just want to make sure everything is ticketyboo!
