I bought them from superdrug, they were 2 for £8.49 last week! Bargain!!

I didn't think that they would do an internal but then I read somewhere that they might, maybe it was an American website I looked at.

are you maybe getting mixed up with internal scans maybe? I have had an internal at 34 weeks but that's because I was having tightening sensations and reduced movements.

If your overweight and not very far gone when you have the first scan they can sometimes need to do internals but usually its not needed. x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Please don't buy a CB digi just to check the numbers have gone up hun, the conception indicator isn't 100% accurate so if the numbers don't change or tally up it might cause you unnecessary concern, mine showed 1-2 weeks when I was over the 6 week marker and then a week and a half later came up with error. x

I've just spotted as well that it just says 3+ not 6-7 or 8-9 etc.
oh well, will just have to play the waiting (and hoping and fingers crossing) game!!

I think after with the bleeding I had last week I just want to make sure that Im still pregnant! I'll probably buy a load of cheap testers until I have a scan and do one every now and then just to put my mind at rest and that I havent imagined it all!

Once your hormones get to a certain level ( not sure exactly what) there is too much hormone for the test to give a positive result. If i were you i would just hang tight and try and wait for the scan.

I had bleeding at just over 4 weeks and i will be 13 weeks next monday when i get my scan and still am not sure whether it's just a bad case of wind or there is actually something in there!

I wish they would do more checks on pregnant ladies in the first trimester to reassure us but all we can do is try and stay calm and not worry too much.

I think I probably am getting mixed up. I'm not by any means overweight. My bmi is only 20.5 so hopefully I'll be ok :-)

Just so nervous and scared as its my first x

  • Hey ladies

been off the interweb for a while, absolutely drained and needed a break!

had a MW appt on 13th and classed as low risk so will be on MW led ward at the hospital (same ward my brother was born on) :) and had a scan a week later, everything all fine, think im having a kangaroo not a human baby! Very bouncy wee thing!

Going by the date given at the scan im 13 weeks today :)

Anyone else had awful fatigue? The sickness i can deal with (and is now subsiding!) but i just feel so run down, tempted to stop working now rather than later!

I was pretty tired in the first trimester but I had a great 2nd trimester - felt completely normal except for not being able to get to my shoes easily (and my 3rd is going swimmingly so far as well) - the tiredness is pretty much gone for me although I believe it will probably come back in the last month or so as I get too big to be comfy!
  • Im really hoping it gets better soon, everything i read says that my energy should come back, so im waiting patiently (ok maybe not so patient but i want my life back!)

also have low blood pressue which has got worse during pregnancy so have to be very careful with standing up too quickly, though i had to crouch down at the tills in tesco the other day, slightly embarrasing but better than passing out!

so far I havent been sick - though yesterday afternoon I felt really sick (I am keeping everything crossed that Im not sick - I seriously hate being sick!!) I seem to be constantly knackered though! roll on saturday when I can have a lie in bed!!

Ive not had any cravings so far - apart from all the foods that we're not allowed to have (but I think I only want them because I cant have them!!)
