P.S. As for the crying, I am a bit of a wet lettuce at the best of times and cry at everything anyway. But am in full waterworks mode at the moment and have just had a quick weep while hubby went to get some milk . No reason, just felt myself filling up and it was over a minute later.0

I was just with my friend who is also pregnant (with twins , she's 17 weeks), we both thought the pregnant crying thing was SUCH a clich!, how wrong we were!!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0

Well that's me at the 12 week milestone! One more week till my scan, am still undecided about whether to tell the world then or to wait until 20 week scan to doubly make sure all is well. Most of the people who need to know already know anyway but it would be nice to not feel like having to hide my belly or to think about what I say all time!
Hope you all had a good weekend and all your little beans are still sticking well0 -
 me again!! Im sooo confused!!! I had some bleeding last week and thought the worst but since I posted on here about it I havent had any more bleeding - I also POAS this morning and its still showing as a BFP!!
looks like Id better call back the docs and tell them I want an appointment again!
fingers crossed Im still in the running!!
big hugs to everyone who wants one or needs one!!!! xx0 -
Thats fantastic news newcook. Really pleased for you.
Now before I say my next bit please be kind. Is it normal for me to suddenly feel absolutley terrified and wondering if I'm doing the right thing? I can't believe I even feel this way. It feels so wrong given what some of you ladies go through. My head is all over the place at the moment and I'm feeling just awful. I don't have anyone I can talk to about this and I'm feeling completely overwhelmed.0 -

Im with you on that claretgirl!! When me and OH found out, every now and then we would blurt out to each other ‘oh my god, Im going to be a dad/mom’! then 10 minutes later would be the daunting feeling that we are going to be responsible for a little person etc. looks like we are going to be having all those emotions again!!
I watched OBEM the other week and there was a girl on there who was told they were going to book her in for a c-section and she sat there and said to her chap ‘im going to be a mom in an hour’ – it was almost as if she had just realized that it really was happening!
I think if you are a first time mom (like myself) I don’t think that reality of the whole thing actually hits until you’ve got that little person in your arms – maybe even then it doesn’t seem real for a bit!0 -
Thank you. It all just seems too much to deal with at the moment. Not that I have much choice lol. My OH is away all week, my doctor doesnt want to know until I'm ten weeks so I feel very alone and scared.0
