Don't expect too much of your GP though, it seems often they delegate all responsibility to the midwives, mine was useless but I couldn't self-refer to the midwives so I had to go to him first.

I'm due I go on holiday on the 10th November which would make me around 12 weeks. I'd love a scan before then if possible so I'll see what my docs say.

We got our bfp on the tuesday saw doc on the friday but then told to make appt with MW at 8 weeks and to come back in between if any probs. Wasn't tested I took a CB didgi just made a note on my file really.

So woken up today with a stuffy nose and itching throat feels like a cold but I don't feel poorly................no idea what that is all about .................

hello ladies, I'm so so delighted to say I'll be staying here for a bit longer
A scan this morning showed a blueberry with a nice strong regular heartbeat (and a very full bladder lol!)
We are absolutely over the moon, although I know we still have a very long way to go its a great first step. Thank you all for thinking of me, I'm convinced it made all the difference x

lemonmelon - that is fantastic news. I have had my fingers crossed and been lurking to see when you would post. i am so so pleased for you. There's no point in telling you to relax a little - I still can't!

Chonorla - am so pleased for you too. Glad everything is going ok for you too. Try and take it easy - easier said than done!

Tinks - i got that in the early stages too - honey and lemon linctus was the only thing the doctor or pharmacist would let me take. Well that and paracetamol which is a bit useless for me! Hope you feel better soon!

Right - back to lurksville. I like coming back to see how you are all doing!
