    Hi everyone!

I haven't been posting much, not been very well, the joys of pregnancy :) I have been lurking though and have been keeping up with everything as much as possible. I'm off work again with nausea and tiredness. It's just so difficult to get out of bed at the moment!I'm definitely going back in tomorrow though, i'm so bored!

On another point, anyone elses b00bies hurting like mad? Mine are fine during the day then feel like they are going to burst in the middle of the night! Doesn't help the lack of sleep i've been having due to peeing every 2 hours :). Im not complaining btw, this beanie is VERY much wanted, I was sadly under the disillusion that pregnancy is all wonderful and you just get a lovely neat bump, no nausea, no sore b00bs etc! How wrong i was :)

Anyway enough about me, welcome to mrsj and daisyboo and helen!

Daisy I think thats the best "finding out" story i've ever heard :) I'm not sure about the burger, maybe if it is blasted until its VERY hot, just to be on safe side?
Helen maybe change in symptoms means a girl this time?
mrsj peeing a lot is a good sign, i've had that since the beginning, bit of a pain after a while though :)

Poppie welcome to the thread, its lovely to gave a grandparent on here, I hope everything goes well for your daughter, it sounds like a nightmare what she's been through!

I've got to run at the moment but will be back later :)

    Hello again ladies :)

Is it just me or is time flying? I cant believe im 8 weeks already! We pick up our travel system on saturday :j and i've booked another drs appt for monday at 4.10pm as i still havent heard anything since i went almost 3 weeks ago! So much for my early scan! Different dr this time so hopefully i can get sorted with a midwife :j

Spud seems to like orange juice! Have drank a carton a day for the last few days, but i guess it beats the usual tea and coke!

I think im going to invest in a body pillow, i can only sleep on my front and atm its hurting my b00bs!
I'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:
  • 2b- I'm 10/11 weeks now. Can't wait to have scan in 2 weeks so I know exactly how many weeks I am. Thanks for doing the list, you are a star!

Still haven't got rid of this cold/cough/virus. Back in work now after 4 days off last week. getting sick to death of the cough and it's keping me up at night aswell!

    Welcome to the new ladies+congrats!

Dundeediva-my b00bs are majorly sore, have been since I found out. Struggling to sleep on my front now so trying to sleep on my side.

Daisyboo-love the way you found out/tested-gave me a giggle!

Sid_wolf- I'm finding the time has dragged for me, think as soon as we have the scan in 2 weeks it will be better. Seems a long time from going to see the midwife to book in at 5 weeks then no contact until 13 weeks.

    All the best ladies!

Thanks :D I've re-adjusted you I got a bit carried away with myself!

I really don't mind doing it (my DW, will tell you - I LOOOOOVE a list!) but selfishly it helps me keep up with who is at what stage, as I have a terrible terrible memory!

Thanks - that's really helpful! I guess they will date me at a similar time to you, although I had longish irregular cycles while we were ttc (between 30-48 days) so I reckon in reality I'll be a week or two earlier on.

Thanks for the welcomes ladies :)

Daisy - I wouldn't worry too much about lifting toddlers and jumping around. I've been jumping on and off tractors, hauling sheep around and lifting fairly heavy stacks of eggs and am now 18 weeks.

I did check with the mw (official) mw (friend who's a mw and married to a farmer) and doc. They all said babies are well protected so no harm done there and that the risk is more to yourself by doing your back in etc as your ligaments are a bit weaker. They said if you're a generally fit and healthy person you'll be ok and you're body will tell you when to stop.

Funnily enough, mine tells me to stop when I reckon there's a job my Dad should be doing not me!

MrsJ28 Fantabuloso to see you on here! Hope all goes well for you x

mrsj28 - I am the opposite to you I have a shorter cycle - about 25-6 days and I ovulate immediately after my period. So it will be interesting to see where we both end up by the time we have had our dating scans! I think I may be pushed slightly further on.

Well I said I'd let you know what aqua natal class was like, and today was the day. I'm 36wks+3 today, so quite a big bump, and other than walking, hadn't really done any other exercise the entire pregnancy. The class was really good though. The water takes the weight of the bump and it's low impact on your joints, and the midwife running the class tailored the exercises to work your core muscles and pelvic floor. I had a brilliant time and it was great to meet other local mums-to-be. I'd thoroughly recommend them to anyone who would like to get into a regular exercise routine - wish I'd found them sooner.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
