That's the one we've ordered Every time we go to John Lewis I make DH go and look at them, as you don't see many about. We ordered ours at the baby show in May, but it's not being delivered until October.

Hey Abby,

Yes, this is our first baby so everything is new. We haven't told many people yet - waiting till after the 12 wk scan, so we haven't had any generous offers yet.
It is difficult making excuses about not going out (because I've been in bed at 9pm for the last few weeks feeling absolutely shattered), making excuses while I eat constantly (cos I am sooo hungry all the time) and trying to hide throwing up in the work toilet (cos I feel sick most of the time).

feeling really sick this morning ladies! managed to eat and keep it down but the sick feeling is still there Still feeling a bit strange over all too, tired, bit dizzy when i stand up, eyes start to swim a bit if i stare at something for too long or look down for too long. Wondering if it may be low iron levels or low blood pressure. Guess when i have my booking in next week they will test for all that or is is worth seeing a doc before then?

Morning all

Also not feeling so great this morning and I can't work out if its preg related or I am coming down with something.

I hope nothing horrible is doing the rounds at the moment? I have friends who are off sick and their 10 month old baby is also sick - we were at a BBQ with them on the Sat and they got ill on the Sunday.

Desperately don't want to be at work today - need to be home, under the covers

binky, they'll test blood pressure at book-in as well as iron, but it'll take a while for the iron results to come back. If you think it's blood pressure (too low) you could try not getting too hot, making sure you eat (yes, I know!) and making sure you eat some salty-type things. Dried apricots are apparently good for iron esp if you have some vitamin c with them (like orange juice)
