I've been having some shooting pains in my breats this evening, really sharp ones in both. I'm assuming these are just growing pains/hormonal changes.
Anybody else had this too?
Sore boobs seems to be the only symptom I do have! I generally don't notice it until I take my bra off it must support the stretching quite well but yes occasionally I do get some sharp pains sometimes through my nipples and sometimes through the sides towards my underarm so you are not alone0 -
Sorry to hijack ladies,
Tattoo and 2b - Just wondered if you could give me some info about what soy did to your cycles? I took it for the 1st time this cycle and I am currently on CD33 (never happened before) and 11 dpo (also never happened before!) No sign of AF but a BFN on a digi this morning. Did it make your cycles longer? Temps indicate a CD21 ov as usual so I just don't know whats happening!
Thanks ladies
Hi Lilymay - my cycle definitely got longer, in fact - I kind of skipped a period (which has really thrown the doctors and midwives as they all tend to go from your last missed period!!)
I geared up to ovulate and then maybe didnt, and when my period was due - it didnt arrive, so around CD 57, I thought I would do an ovulation test to see what was happening - and sure enough a peak! We inseminated the once - and about 13dpo, I got a positive on an internet cheapie HPT and a Digi.
I have heard soy can completely mess with your cycles though - and I think it made tattoo's longer too.
Good luck! xxBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

Thanks binky, wasn't too worried - but it is always nice to hear others are going through the same!
Its stopped now, completely. V odd!
Hope everyone is having a lovely day enjoying the sunshine, we're off to a BBQ now!

Nice to see I am not the only one feeling guilty about being a new starter at work
We just never expected it to happen so quickly. I thought we had a little while to play with before I would be having to think about all this. But am secretly delighted it happened first month again !!!:T I believe everything happens for a reason (and I am extremely greatful
) and am sure all of our employers will be sympathetic and wish us well
(Fingers crossed)
And to all those of you that are so organised and buying things already ! :T This may be my 4th and the youngest is only 2 and a half but I have absolutely nothing. We got rid of EVERYTHING because we decided our family was complete about a year ago. But unfortunately that broody feeling never disappeared.....
Oh well, just more excuse to shop when the time comes!
2ba3c - my memory is known to be quite dodgy when pregnant - eight months pregnant with my last one and I did a huge £90 shop in Tesco. Packed all the bags and put some on the floor (was packing and still unloading the other end at the same time so trolley wasn't empty) and put the last two in the trolley. I then paid and waltzed off with the trolley with just the 2 carriers in, leaving all of the rest under the end of the checkout
I drove 8 miles home and only realiseed when my husband came out of the house to help unload my "big" shop....:o
Yey for the X factor later !!! Love it!!!!:T0 -
Thank you for the welcomes (I know it was a while back
).
2nd hospital appointment yesterday and doctor tweaked my EDD from 13 April to 11 April and has now put me at 6 weeks, 2 days.
Scan confirmed there is only one baby (twins run in my family) and we got to hear the heartbeat. Bless OH, he looked quite choked :A, I think these scans make it seem more real to him.
Sorry to moan, but my God I have been feeling pants! I am nauseous from the moment I get up, until the moment I go to bed. The thought of cooking or eating food makes me feel like I could upchuck and I could burst into tears at the slightest thing. I get so annoyed at myself as I really am grateful for this little miracle and should be enjoying the experience more than I am. Please, someone, tell me it will get better :rotfl:. Thankfully, OH is golden and just tells me to take myself off to bed or have a little nap in front of the fan.
Next hospital appointment is for 3 September.
I hope everyone is well, or at least feeling a bit perkier than I am.

2b - Thanks for the info my lovely. I am pretty sure I ov'ed on CD21 as usual (check out my chart and see what you think) but I will keep BD'ing until/if AF arrives just in case. I hope I didn't miss it this last week though!
Good luck to everyone with their pregnancies14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Sorry you are feeling rubbush, Mrs MM, I would like to tell you it gets better, but I am still feeling a bit rubbish and I am 13.5 weeks. Pah.
Took OH to Mothercare World today to get him initiated. He looked like a rabbit in the headlights, bless him! I was mooching around and found some mattress protectors in case your waters break in bed (fine) or for incontinence that sometimes accompanies late pregnancy. Whhhaaaaaaattttt?? I didn't sign up for that!!
In fact, the further into my pregnancy I get the more I realise that they don't tell you any of that stuff at the start, they like to feed it to you in dribs and drabs because, as my friend said when I told her, you'd never do it in the first place :rotfl: I am now wondering what else is being withheld from me....:D
Off on jollies for a few days tomorrow. Think it will do me good, if I can just stop stressing about it0 -
hahahaha@Millie! I hadnt even thought about that and read that out to DW!!
Oh god, I am a seriously hot, sweaty, SPOTTY mess at the moment. I feel hideous and gross. We went to a friends BBQ and I stayed in the shade just fanning myself, but couldn't get cool - no matter what. Am now half naked on the sofa, half watching X factor (well I was) with the fan directly on me!
Millie - did you get your potty?!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
