Sammie 03 - I am another one with very mixed pregnancies, very similiar to you.
Hyperemesis with the first two - one boy and one girl.
Bit queasy every morning with the third up to about 16 weeks but nothing else and that was a boy.
So will be interesting what this one is - feeling very sick and have been very sick a few times! Who knows eh!
Have had a long day in work - but manage to grab some air and have a little secret wretch and biscuit on home visits! I work for a well known childrens charity and our offices are based in a very large house, so am able to sneak out of my office and no-one questions where I am!
2ba3c - am understanding the memory thing - I drove 5 miles towards my old job today before realising I had actually left there 8 weeks ago and I now work in completely the opposite direction! There would have been a few surprised faces if I had turned up in my old workplace...:o
I am still feeling abit guilty about being pregnant so early in a new job, but my contract ends in March so it will coincide with maternity leave, There will possibly be more funding but have decided to leave work for a while and look after my growing brood...:)0 -

Hi Ladies,
Hope everyones days/afternoons are going OK? For those of you working - how are you managing with symptoms?

I currently work two jobs, and hiding it isnt all too easy although in my daytime job my best friends works with me so she covers for me alot.
had to call in sick on tue because i needed a rest, ms and head had finally gotten to much. although ended up in today 9-5:30 to make up for the time off, its a busy week and i didnt want everyone falling behind because of me, and then at my other job tonight till 10 pm.Sammie 03 -

I know the guilty feeling i only started at my newest job around the time i got pregnant ( not planned but it happened), and i feel so guilty that they have taken the time to train me when i wont be able to stay on, although it is only temp they have hinted at keeping me longer

Back again, sorry been working lots the last few days (very glad atm that i run a small business from home!)
Been a bit naughty and done a bit of shopping
so far we have 2 dribble bibs, 2 hats, 3 short sleeved body suits and a nice warm all in one outdoor suit
OH came with me to town today and we found a pram in a small local baby shop, its a m&p pramette and its gorgous! Going back tomorrow to put the deposit on it (£25) as its £125 (great price, car seat and raincover incl!) But OH doesnt get paid till end of the month
How do i get the 1st appt with the midwife? Have been to the docs and they are apparently referring me for an early scan , was ment to get aletter this wek but nothing yet, will my booking appt be part of this scan?I'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:0 -
Ohhhh Ellie - bless you, you must be knackered working two jobs and feeling rubbish ((big hugs))
I only started my current job in April, so feel a bit like you do too.
Sid_Wolf, I'd *love* to go off shopping, but I just can't bring myself to until 12 weeks. I have picked up a couple of cheap bargains though - like a 2nd hand monitor - one of those fancy Angel something or other ones, with monitor detector. I got that for £20 and a pregnancy pillow for £10! Can't believe you are so organised and have found a pram already!! You'll have nothing left to buy soon!
My doctors made the appt for me with my midwife, she comes in once a week. Can you ring your doctors and check if you need to make with them or the hospital?Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

We will need to buy everything as its our 1st and also have to do some work on the house too so we cant afford to leave everything till later as we want to spread the cost out
Hard to buy the little things early on though as almost everything is either blue or pink! Not much unisex except plain bits. If i dont have a letter by monday i might ring them and see what to doI'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:0 -
I also want the pram fairly early as having 4 dogs i will need to teach them to walk nicely alongside it (will only ever take them one at a time though) as will need to be used to it for ourlong walks to the dog park!I'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:0

I've been having some shooting pains in my breats this evening, really sharp ones in both. I'm assuming these are just growing pains/hormonal changes.
Anybody else had this too?Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Sorry to hijack ladies,
Tattoo and 2b - Just wondered if you could give me some info about what soy did to your cycles? I took it for the 1st time this cycle and I am currently on CD33 (never happened before) and 11 dpo (also never happened before!) No sign of AF but a BFN on a digi this morning. Did it make your cycles longer? Temps indicate a CD21 ov as usual so I just don't know whats happening!
Thanks ladies
