Hope everyone is doing ok, am sorry for those who might have lost.
This weekend was a milestone in that I have now started throwing
up. Rather randomly too. In the morning on Saturday, about 5pm on Sunday and again this morning. Decided to tell my boss as I definitely looked ill this morning and thought it best to let him know in case I needed to go home ill. He was actually over the moon and gave me a huge hug and he started to well up! I said he must not tell anyone until we've had the scan, which will be on the 13th September. One month to go!0 -

Hope you're feeling better soon, I would love a bit of morning sickness would make me feel actually pregnant! I was really sick with my last pregnancy so maybe my body has just decided i suffered enough last time and will let me off this time0 -
I've been holding back from posting for fear of coming across as Ms Negative (which I know I can be!) - but I just am not feeling very pregnant at the moment.
Symptoms have completely lessened and like I have a bit more energy than I did have. Considering going for a scan at the early pregnancy unit to put my mind at rest.
Also a guy at work just told me his girlfiend was 12 weeks pregnant and showed me a scan pic - it took everything I had not to share my news!
Ooohh - the only thing I am having is headaches (but I had these before anyway) I am drinking SO much water, like 4 litres a day - is anybody else?

2ba3c - I'm sure things are fine. Its normal for symptoms to come and go over time. Also, we're getting close to 9 weeks now which is where the placenta takes over a lot of the work from our hormones and so its normal for the effects of the hormones to calm down.
ETA: my scan is 4th Sept.0 -
Hi ladies
I'll post properly later I just wanted to see if any of you have had really quick heartbeats which last for a minute then return to normal? I have doc and mw this afternoon but I'm freaking out!! I thought I would pass out and I was lying down doing nothing at all!!xxSaving money like a trouper...0 -

yes, when I was first pg I would wake up in the middle of the night to drink a pint of squash! You're making extra blood etc, and your kidneys work more efficiently so you excrete the water faster, so you do need to drink more.dundeediva wrote: »Hi ladies

Palpitations are a known pregnancy symptom as your heart is working harder - mention it to the MW this afternoon thoughLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
I hae the faster working heart - I can feel it when i'm lying down. Sometimes it keeps me awake! And yes to the drinking thing. I'm not great at drinking at the best of times but really want it all the time now!0

Hi guys, I posted a few weeks ago but been really busy at work and been away at the olympics so just getting round to come back on here. Can I please go on your list? Im between 8-9 weeks and have my scan on 13th Sept. My EDD is either 20th or 27th March. Got to wait until the scan until I know just how far along I am and a proper EDD.
Spent all of last week at the Olympics (was amazing!) I did quite a bit of walking last week and found that my belly felt 'heavy' but apart from that I feel really good.
I have a bowel condition called Ulcerative Colitis which Ive had for 10 years. It has got sooo much better since Ive fallen pregnant, just hope it doesnt come back with a vengence when I give birth!
I hope these next few weeks go quickly, myslef and the OH cant wait to see the baby at the scan, I just hope everything is okay.
Hope you are all keeping well!0
